This is perhaps not the best park for families. Some permanent residents made complaints about the children being noisy but we were right in amongst the permanent vans and maybe we shouldn't have been. Been travelling 14 months and this was only the second time anyone complained about the childrens' noise but here, apparently, the complaining was continuous. Disturbing their TV time at 8.30 pm or something. Felt like the manager may have been floating about trying to bust them being noisy so he could act on the complaining....? As a result our stay didn't feel welcoming.

On top of that, unclean livestock trailer parked in adjacent service station periodically made the camp stink, at least I think that is what might have been causing it, and then there was an ashtray come recycling centre smell about too. Wasn't smelling...

Charming caravan park with shady trees, attractive garden environs, neat & private onsite options, grassy tent sites & amenities that were modern, spic & span. We had luxurious hot showers with great pressure in clean cubicles. There was just the right amount of lighting to feel safe & sure of foot heading to the amenities after dark. The manager was welcoming & understanding after our long journey, providing tips on where to find a good meal out on a tricky day to do so & where to find the street my grandad grew up on. The highway is audible from a tent at night but nothing that ear plugs wouldn’t eliminate. Definitely an underrated gem, at which we were very...

I had no idea what I was getting myself into here, but I arrived to a genuinely friendly welcome…and then there was the Mister Ed caravan that was to be my digs for the night. There is a TV and a table, which are the first things that make me happy. It’s a caravan, so it’s not exactly roomy, but there is a covered veranda, which would be great for a small family to spread themselves out. The amenities block for the boys looks very new and modern. Another plus for this place. Now for my favourite part…the bed in Mr. Ed is the most comfortable that I have slept in! I did not wake up during the night. I did not hear any of the traffic from the...

I cannot believe that we stayed 2 days in this filthy caravan park. After dropping my glasses near the bedside table I bent down to pick them up and it was disgusting. Other people's hair stuck to the floor and walls along with dirt and dust. Even the outside chairs were dirty and we had to clean them before we could use them. The van itself was dirty and the deck area needs a good clean. Went to have dinner and there's only one fork in the drawer. Will never go there again or recommend this place.
