We have travelled all around Oz and this would have to be THE best location and friendliest staff you could ever meet and it is pet friendly! All the staff are excellent, but Reece is outstanding and he goes over and above his call of duty, as he always goes out of his way to help you with anything and everything around the carvan park. Youd be hard pressed to find a better employee than Reece, who is truly customer focused and always keeps the gardens and sites looking beautiful, when he isnt in the office. Huge flat sites are either concrete slab, synthetic grass or natural grass. The 3 camp kitchens and main amenties block are spotless. In the mens, there are 4 extra-large hot shower cubicals with excellent water pressure and heaps of room to get changed in, as well as 4 toilets, 4 urinals and 6 hand basins (I believe the ladies are similar, but extra toilets of cause). There is a handy laundry with 3 coin operated washing machines, 2 driers and huge clothes line area with heaps of hanging space located in a sunny position. There is even a raised stainless steel dog bath and shower, within a fenced yard to keep your pet safe. The bright blue dump point is centrally located outside the ammenities block and it is cleaned regularly. We have stayed at this park everytime we pass through Coffs Harbour. On our recent visit we stayed 3 months, with lots of friendly regulars that stay a similar amount of time each year. Which brings me to Jossie, who is another member of staff and she always makes you feel welcome and at home. She is a true favourite with all the regulars and she treats you like her extended family. We cant wait to return, weve booked in again for next year and we can`t recommend them highly enough. Thank you to everyone at Woopi Lakeside and we wish you a Merry Xmas and a Healthy...
Read moreI almost don't want to tell you how good Woolgoolga Lakeside Holiday Park is because we'd love to keep it all to ourselves. We go with our caravan, but also have family that go at the same time and stay in the Villas. The villas are spacious and clean and if we didn't enjoy our van so much, we'd stay in a villa. The park is lovely and clean. Just out of town (about a 1.5km walk or a 2min drive) and it's lovely and quiet, even in the busy season. The beaches are pristine with very few people around (we go in January!). There are several BBQ areas (free), a play ground outside the park and about 5 steps from the front gate. The laundry facilities and bathroom facilities are clean and well lit and finally, the staff.... they're amazingly friendly, helpful and knowledgable people who are always ready with a smile and the right answer. My only advice to visitors is have your internet access sorted and don't rely on the Wifi, it's woeful. The wifi may be free, but you essentially have to be standing in the office to be...
Read moreWe absolutely love this van park and have been a few times and would rate it 10/10 if it was based on the camping. We stayed in a cabin this time and it was fine but a pretty old. I wouldn't be bother by that other than its still pretty pricey for being so dated. And I mean some parts of the floor felt soft like the timer under was deteriorated. The park itself is clean, has grass, great amenities, very friendly and helpful staff, nice and small so I felt happy for my kids to ride around it by themselves. The biggest plus is the location. It's right on the river mouth so you don't have to get into the car to go fishing, swimming,or walking on the beach. You can also walk the beach or road into town and it's flat the whole way. It's a really quick bike ride too with birds and bats along the way. The playground next to the park is excellent for older kids because it's quite tall and there's...
