We stayed here as a group of 5 families across 3 cabins and it worked out pretty great. I think we all had a good time, accomodation was appropriate with a good amount of plates pans and cutlery. Our cabin had 2 bathrooms, reverse cycle a/c(it was cold so the a/c got a workout), a larger living area and 6 bunks which worked well with our 2 families. It was a little bit separated from the other cabins which would be good if you wanted a bit of privacy, although you might feel a bit left out if you were in a group situation. All in all a good week end, don’t miss the animal feeding and the owners are lovely. Enjoy

Joanne and Austin were fantastic hosts! They're friendly, accomodating, helpful, welcoming and insightful! If i could give more stars than i would. The playground is right in the middle of all the cottages. The cottages were well equipped from basic cooking needs to laundry detergents! Plenty of toys, dvds and things for the kids to do. The animals were obviously the biggest hit for my kids (4 & 2). Thank you so much for having us, you have such a beautiful property and we will definitely be back again! Thank you! Bree and the kids ♥️

My family and I had an incredible time at Kerriley’s farmstay! We stayed in the Banksia cottage, which was cozy and comfortable, with all the essentials provided. The highlight was interacting with the animals and helping with feeding them—the kids absolutely loved it! Mr. Austin was welcoming and shared fascinating insights about farm life, which made our experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this farm stay for anyone looking to escape the city and enjoy nature. We can’t wait to return!

We booked Rosella Cottage for three nights. We arrived mid afternoon and found the cottage to be suffocatingly hot. Granted it was a hot day but windows in the cottage had been left wide open which of course let the heat in. We located the air conditioner and turned it on to cool the place down before the rest of the party arrived. We looked for air con units in the three bedrooms but there were none. When accommodation is advertised as having reverse cycle air conditioning I think the average person would think the whole cottage would be air conditioned. Gradually the two bedrooms closest to the air-con cooled off but it took till mid evening for enough cool air to float through to the back bedroom. Two of the group took their shoes off upon arrival and soon found the soles of their feet were becoming very dirty. The floor may possibly have been swept or vacuumed before our arrival but I feel sure it had not been mopped. I visited Joanne, the owner and mentioned the heat in the cottage and the floor being dirty. I asked her for a mop and some cleaning solution so I could mop the living area. Joanne is very friendly and helpful so of course she obliged. She suggested opening doors and windows to cool the place off. I mentioned the peacocks might come in the doors and she said they were opportunistic . We found this to be true. Opening doors and windows might seem a simple thing to do and it would have helped a lot as afternoon turned into evening and the outside temperature cooled off. However flyscreens on doors and windows were minimal and those that were there were ineffective. Apart from the kitchen window all other windows were without fly screens. There were two sliding doors, one at the front entry and one in the back bedroom. The front flyscreen was torn along the edges and in a fragile state. The back bedroom door didn’t have a flyscreen at all. We were not at all keen to have the cottage full of mosquitoes or peacocks so the doors and windows had to remain closed. The two front bedrooms were presentable. However the back bedroom was not good. It was basically a narrow verandah that had been poorly closed in to make the cottage bigger. It was not at all suitable for paying guests. There was one tiny window which you couldn’t see out of unless you stood up. There was the sliding door onto a small concreted area at the back. This was a room with two beds in it. The room was so narrow that you couldn’t reach the second bed unless you walked sideways around the end of the first bed. There was a floor fan that helped move the air but it was not the sort of room you would pay to stay in. The single bed in that room needs looking at because it sinks in the middle.

For a balanced review I want to add l the good things about Kerriley. The kitchen was well equipped. Everything needed was supplied. We had plenty of hot water. The towels were very soft and clean. The shower and toilet were very clean. There were plenty of games and toys and this was really appreciated. Other folk have commented on the ants. Yes, there were some but we never really found them to be an issue. The property is very quiet. The thing we liked best about Kerriley was the animal feeding each morning. The couple who do the animal feeding are brilliant with children. They remember each child’s name and ensure that all of them are actively involved in the feeding process. This is a real tourist attraction not to be missed.

When I got home I checked on the Kerriley Park website. There were several photos of rooms in the other cottages but no specific photos of the interior of our Rosella Cottage. I wondered if this was intentional. A photo of the back bedroom in our cottage would not have resulted in any booking being made, I’m sure. Joanne gave us a discount on our accommodation when we made the booking a few weeks ago. Was this discount given because it was known that Rosella was very run down. We left the accommodation after only two nights, preferring to lose our money rather than...

Farmer Oz and Jo gave us the most amazing holiday for our family and friends. We had planned it as a birthday present for our 8-year-old son, since he loves animals and farms, and what an amazing stay it was. The sign out the front welcoming us to our cabin was such a nice touch and made us all feel very welcome. The cabin was nice and clean with nice towels ready on the bed. There is ample room inside the cabins and even though we were two families it never felt cramped. All the children ran out straight away to play around the back and on the play equipment and we were able to watch them from the back patio while enjoying a warm coffee. In the morning, we all got ready to go and help feed the animals and we all loved it. You get up close and personal with them and we even helped to collect the eggs from the hens, my son loved it! The area around the farm has so much to offer as well, since it is in the middle of the Margaret River region. Nothing is more than 20-30 min away at the very most and there is a lot of exploring to do. We had asked nicely for if it was possible to have a fire that evening and when we came back from exploring it was already done and we could enjoy dinner and marshmallows by the fire. The next morning this lovely couple helped us to celebrate our son in the most amazing way! We cannot be more grateful for the wonderful memories that you helped to create for our family and a thank you will never be enough. May you be very blessed for all your hard work and for being the amazing people that you are. Thank you||The...

We stayed in Redgum cottage for 7 nights & could’ve happily stayed longer! Our kids (3&5) LOVED feeding the animals daily & got to know them all so they had their faves 😂 There’s plenty for the kids to do, from puddle jumping around the farm, finding all the fairy doors down fairy lane (huge hit!), playing on the playground (looks faded but still great condition), bonfires at night with marshmallows & if we had been rained in then the cabin is stocked with games, DVDs, a dollhouse, duplo & books! We noticed a high chair & 2 portable cots, things we had lacked at other accommodation in the past, & even a step in the bathroom for kids which we were grateful to utilise. Not modern or fancy but had everything you could need & phone reception was a little iffy which we didn’t mind at all - nice to switch off. Location was the best! There were so many things to do just 5-20mins away. Dunsborough Country Life Farm & Deadly Discovery were huge hits with our kids, Wow illusions was great too. Even staying a week we didn’t get through our whole hit list of places to go 😂 The owners were lovely 😊 Joanne & Austin made us feel right at home & always smiling, ready for a chat. Our kids loved them & pretty sure our eldest was angling for a job so she didn’t have to leave! 😅 Highly recommend if you’re looking for a homely holiday that feels like you’re in the middle of nowhere while you’re actually in the...
