This is the most relaxing hotel we've been to since we became parents. The vast majority of the guests walks around the hotel in house shoes, I think this shows how at home people feel. Parking is free and it's relatively easy to find a space. For small kids there is an outdoor playground and a small indoor playground that is not terribly exciting but it's better than nothing and keeps kids entertained for a bit. For older kids there is a sports room to play football, table tennis and table football. Our room had an awesome view to a big mountain top, the whole area is very peaceful. Unfortunately there was no snow when we came but the ski area with artificial snow is only 4 minutes away by car. One of the things we didn't like about our room is that there is nothing binding the 2 mattresses together so the gap between them gets really big and uncomfortable through the night. Our favourite part of this hotel was the play corner in the snack bar. This made meals so relaxing. We booked only with breakfast so we ate all our meals at the snack bar and it was a great decision. Not only did we save money but also our nerves because that play room in the snack bar is golden for any couple with small children 🙏. The only disadvantage of the snack bar is that it's a bit understaffed. Often it only had one clerk who was also responsible for the reception so the staff often seemed stressed out which came out as a bit unfriendly at times, although understandable also. That also meant sometimes having to wait a bit to order food if the clerk was giving tourism tips to a guest at the reception for instance. Breakfast was in the buffet room and it had something for everyone. I missed having croissants and soft boiled eggs but there were many other things including some organic food, fresh fruit salad, tea, a good variety of bread, warm and cold milk and hot and cold water. My favourite part of breakfast was that it was completely self-service, no need to ask anyone for coffee or warm milk and have to wait for things to come to the table. The hotel size is perfect. It doesn't have too many people like those all inclusive hotels where you feel overwhelmed by all the noise and commotion around you. But it has enough kids running around that you don't feel bad when your kid is loud or spills milk on the table 😅 I would recommend this hotel for anyone with kids. The area around the hotel is also very pretty with many lakes and rivers, good for hiking if the weather is good. There is also a salt cave right next to the hotel (from 4 years old on) and a few thermal baths with salt water close by. We will come back! Maybe next time bring something to keep the mattresses...
Read moreJufa hotel was my choice during my day trip to Hallstatt, as closer hotels were fully booked. I can not say that the location is not good enough, as it is obviously a hotel which is made to support ski season, but it is a bit far away from Hallstatt. Furthermore, prices were a bit expensive especially for summer season during September. Staff was very helpful, but there was a misunderstanding with the reception about my invoice, as it was issued with wrong details. Other than that, rooms were pretty clean and very large as well. Breakfast was tasteful, while views form Avery side of the hotel were...
Read moreWe were a large group (40 people). The staff were amazingly welcoming and really went out of their way to accommodate us in every way possible. The rooms were very clean and fairly spacious, the beds were comfortable with good clean pillows, duvets and sheets and the beds were made every day. Food is buffet style and was much better than expected. The very best thing for me was free use of the sauna area and cabins which were fully stocked with clean fresh towels, comfortable loungers and tea!||I highly recommend this place. We will go...
