JUFA Hotel Gitschtal — Hotel in Gitschtal

We have been on Family Skiing in Nassfeld with staying in this hotel. Hotel is located cca 30+ min drive from Nassfeld ski center. However it has two own ski lifts plus one baby lift.. One slope is just passing by the hotel. Staff was friendly and on our service whenever needed..||Room (we used a 2+2 room) was clean, nice but quite small-still enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Same time there is a room for bigger and smaller kids is available in the hotel. ||Well equipped room for boots and skies where you can even rent when staying in the hotel.. Food was tasty, good self service,. Only issue was the too small corner where you could grab the coffee, cups and sweets, people often having to wait for e.g take a cup as some were queuing for sweets or food or coffee and no space to just approach the area. But this may neither be an issue if the hotel is not fully booked as it was during our stay.||There is as well a nice wellness facility with one cca 50C and one 95-100C Sauna+ a quite area where you can take a rest after all day skiing. However clean towels were missing/not refilled couple of times and there was no control on if the basic sauna rules were kept, so sometimes it happened to be very noisy ,or some people sitting without towel in the sauna with wet swimming suits- but this may have been due to the actual gests/groups not used to use a sauna . Placing the rules/guide on how to use sauna on a visible place would be a good idea to make the experience even better, less depending on the guests background using the wellness. ||Despite the above issues listed the overall experience was very good but making it to be not marked...

Great place to spent long weekend with your kids or teens. At that price you will not find any Half board stay with such service and quality. Personal is absolutely great and helpful. My kid just had birthday and I asked is there any bakery where I can buy birthday cake, after that all has been organized and solved by hotels more then excellent stuff. Hotel has own ski slopes, 2 longer ones and one smaller for beginner or really small kids. and no extra cost if you are guest of the hotel. Number of playgrounds around hotel, brilliant!! For teens there is a play room with billiard, table tennis, table football and other games, for toddlers there is another play room. After day on ski, parents will appreciate sauna facility. Heated ski room available. Not to mention Hotel is on the slope! If you want to spend few days on the air with your family and to be hassle free regarding food and entertainment this is place to go with greatest value for money I ever...

Rundum zufrieden und glücklich. Wir waren hier im August 2021. Das Wetter war zu dieser Zeit traumhaft sonnig und warm. Die toll gelegene JUFA in Weißbriach auch für den Familienurlaub im Sommer in der Nähe vom Weißensee mit zahlreichen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, Sportaktivitäten und Wanderwegen zum See selbst (mit Auto oder Fahrrad), nach Hermagor mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, zum Nahe gelegenen Presseggersee sowie in die Berge am Nassfeld oder der beeindruckenden Garnitzenklamm. Im Unterkunftspreis war bei uns die Nassfeldkarte im Sommer mit enthalten und damit waren Gondelfahrten, Freibadeintritte und andere Aktivitäten zum Teil kostenfrei oder reduziert. Der Ort selber ist recht klein, bietet aber auch direkt ab der JUFA Wanderwege auf eine Alm, wo man auch frühstücken kann. Das Baden im angelegten Speicher direkt vor der Jufa ist zwar laut Beschilderung verboten. Dies hat aber einige Gäste nicht davon abgehalten ein kühles Bad zu nehmen. Der Ort selbst verfügt auch über ein kleines Freibad, dass kostenfrei in der Nassfeldkarte enthalten ist und mit einer tollen Rutsche, ausreichend Liegewiesen und einem Imbiss ausgestattet ist. Hier kann man sich auch Pizza oder Burger zum Mitnehmen bestellen. Die Unterkünfte in der JUFA sind relativ ruhig. Wir hatten ein schönes großes Zimmer mit unterem Bereich inkl. Doppelbett, Balkon, Bad und WC und Treppe nach oben mit weiteren 4 Betten. Allerdings hätte dieses große Apartment auch oben locker noch Platz für ein weiteres Badezimmer und WC gehabt, wenn man bedenkt, dass hier 6 Personen übernachten könnten. Das Frühstück war reichlich und abwechslungsreich. Die Zimmer gepflegt und die Anlagen sauber und Spielplätze bespielbar und intakt. Mitarbeiter im Service waren durchgehend sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Cocktails, Bier und alkoholfreie Getränke waren an der Bar erhältlich. Die Jufa verfügt über Freizeiträume mit Tischtennisplatten und Automaten sowie über eine Sauna. Die Sauna ist sehr gepflegt. Einen Stern weniger gibt es nur wegen der relativ hohen Preise im Sommer für Übernachtung und für zusätzliches Abendessen. Frühstück und Nassfeldkarten waren...
