Dachstein 7 — Hotel in Gosau

We stayed here for five nights over Christmas and could not have asked for a better experience. The location is fantastic with just a five minute drive to the ski hill at Dachstein West and cross country trails set right out the back door. The hospitality was unbelievable as they’ve seemingly thought of everything you could ever need and made it available (laundry facilities, basket for the market, backpack for day trips, spa robe/slippers for the sauna, milk frother and coffee machine, etc). Lovely and cozy place to stay. Stayed here 5 days with a medium sized dog. We stayed in apartment 3 which has views of the mountains and a farm with cows and chickens.

Loved everything about this place. The kitchen part has everything you could need to cook. The owners really put thought into these apartments.

There is also a gym onsite, with a dry sauna and humid sauna you can reserve to use. They also offer massages you can book ahead of time. Overall a really enjoyable stay and felt rejuvenated when I checked out.

The location is close to Hallstatt, various hiking paths,godolas...

For us it was a perfect place to stay for 5 days during our trip to Salzburg. We loved the apartment with the uniq design, it was well equipped and had a great Sauna, and nice little back treats with a big dining table and barbecue. Anke the owner was so friendly and welcoming, she helped us with everything we needed and gave us recommendations for places to go and eat in the whole Salzkamergut region.
