😊: Place is very calm and beautifull. Its close to the mountains and river, you can hear river all the time. Room has balcony with mountain view. Owner is very helpfull and friendly. We got nice breakfast. Also place is in very good location for those who plan to drive at Grosglockner alpine road. And the best part was beacause we stayed here we got 10€ discount for Grosglocner road. You just need to show your booking for the entrance of this road.. 😢: Bathroom is not in your room, but in corridor. Room and balcony needs some repair. Beautiful place to camp! Very calm with stunning views. The amenities are in good condition, and they even offer some breakfast options. Super recommended!

Familie Zirknitzer heißt seit Jahren über mehrere Generationen hinweg alle Gäste willkommen. Allen Gästen werden alle möglichen Wünsche erfüllt, Tipps zur Urlaubsgestaltung gegeben und gelegentlich gibt es im Restaurant auch seit Jahren verloren geglaubte Gerichte. Darüber hinaus kann man auch als Nicht-Camper übernachten: es gibt Zimmer, Haus, Blockhaus und Wohnwagen zu mieten. Das alles sind Gründe, hier regelmäßig einige Urlaubstage zu verbringen. Auch das Klima ist sehr abwechslungsreich: es wechselt im Sommer von großer Mittagshitze zu abendlichen Temperaturen, wo schon mal Jagatee oder Glühwein angebracht sind. Der Platz ist attraktiv als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Erkundung der Großglockner Hochalpenstraße oder Radtouren. Für Radtouren ist jedes Rad mit guter Übersetzung hilfreich, weil außer in Richtung Süden schnell mal 1000 Höhenmeter und Steigungen von 8 bis 16 Prozent zu bewältigen sind - also nichts für single-speed-Räder.
