Appartement Oberschernthann — Hotel in Hopfgarten im Brixental

Absolutely lovely place. Franz and Andrea are great hosts, welcoming and very available, the apartments are very confortable, very large and functional. The place has a nice sauna (with a mini-bar) in the basement that you can reserve for a couple of hours. The house is at 1000m altitude, not in the village itself: it is very quiet, but can be difficult to reach in winter. Skiing: the closest cable car is at 10 minutes by foot (uphill, nice to get your muscles warm in the morning!), and there is a ski locker reserved for each apartment there. I had the pleasure of staying at Oberschernthann and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Andrea and Franz are exceptional hosts who truly make you feel at home with their warm hospitality and genuine kindness.

The location is simply beautiful, offering a perfect mix of tranquility and stunning surroundings. The house itself is incredibly comfortable, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to ensure a relaxing stay.

Hatten einen schönen Sommerurlaub dort. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, morgens konnte man am Balkon gut frühstücken, abends war es etwas sonniger dort. Allerdings darf man auch vor dem Haus sitzen, wo es abends schattiger ist. Durften netterweise den Grill benutzen und Ketchup ausleihen und auch als die Windel unseres Kindes nachts auslief bekamen wir neue Bettwäsche. Franz und Andrea gaben uns auch gute Tipps zu Ausflügen. Man kann von der Gondel-Mittelstation beim ersten Mal kostenlos runterfahren (nach Absprache, mit Gästekarte), um eine Bergwelt-Erlebnis-Liftkarte zu kaufen. Parkplatz ist direkt vorm Haus und zusätzlich auch in der Nähe der Mittelstation. Die Kinder waren begeistert von den Bausteinen und der Holzeisenbahn im Spielezimmer sowie natürlich vom Hasenstreicheln und Trampolinspringen. Die Aussicht ist herrlich. Momentan befindet sich aber eine Baustelle auf der anderen Straßenseite, weshalb es morgens natürlich unter der Woche etwas lauter war. Am Ort selber gibt es keinen Metzger, nur ein paar 'kleinere' Supermärkte. Brötchen bekommt man vor die Wohnungstür geliefert, wenn die Hausleute zuhause sind ;-) Schwamm, Geschirrtücher und Bade-/Handtücher sind vorhanden, Spültabs/Spülmittel und 3 Klorollen auch.
