Disclosure: Although I work in the tourism and hotel industry and Carmen and Mark - the hotel owners I know from previous trips where I stayed with them at the previous place then called: Villa Cara also in Kematen. I have no business relationship or profit from the hotel and the opinion I write here designed to promote a new place that I think people .deserve to know||||I will start with the fact that the hotel is located 15 minutes drive from the center of Innsbruck and offers plenty of free parking and quick access to the city and other interesting sites in the area such as the Swarovski Crystal Museum, the Silver Caves in Schwaz and more. ||Although the hotel's location is in an industrial area and close to a railway on one side and the highway on the other, the rooms are completely soundproofed and each room has air conditioning (innovative and quiet).||The hotel is new - opened in mid-2021.||||The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, very well lit (and not as dark as a lot of hotels in recent years), huge king-size beds - for my taste very comfortable . The bathroom is spacious and the shower is large and well equipped.||The hotel itself is decorated to a high standard and you can feel it in every corner - from the reception desks through the breakfest room (which I will reach immediately), the nice bar and the seating area.||||The breakfast room is large and spacious, decorated in detail - some ancient and some modern. Breakfast is no less than excellent and it can be compared to breakfast seserved in 5 star hotels (and often even exceeds them) - there is almost nothing (hot or cold) you can think of that is missing here .... everything is very fresh and the cleanliness is impeccable.Do not miss tasting the cakes served in the sweet corner!||||The service: as in the previous hotel which was very small (with few rooms) remains the same - personal service, patient (the owners themselves are involved in every detail and help with service - at reception, at the kitchen/breakfast area & even in carrying luggage ...). Always with a smile and a willingness to help with any question or request and at any time.||||Next time you are in the area I highly recommend you stay here. Such a place...
Read moreI never thought I would give 5 stars to a hotel in an industrial zone stuck between a motorway and a train track !
So yes, that's the main point : if you are in Innsbruck for tourism and wants to be close to city center by walking distance or reachable by bus : this is not for you.
But if you don't care about the surroundings and have your own car : this is great value for money. Triple glazing windows mean you don't notice the train passing 100 meters away, unless you actually see it. You also do not hear the motorway at all.
Beds were exceptionnally comfortable. Main room for dinner, bar, breakfast is very well laid out and friendly atmosphere. Cocktails were very nice (forgot the name of the bar tender)
On top of it : the hotel manager, speaking many languages, is a true character - but a nice one!!
One small problem : Electric Charging is not free (but price is 50% of...
Read moreThis hotel is simply amazing. The owners are super friendly and really care about their guests. (sorry we don't have lactose free milk, but give me 5 minutes and I get some!) They really make you feel at home! I've stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and honestly this one would be in the top 3 for sure! The location is good, yes it's an industrial estate in between the highway and train track. But in your room you almost do not hear a thing. The beds are very good so is the shower. Fast free wifi and a truly excellent breakfast which is included. There is a nice bar with a huge drink selection. We truly enjoyed the hospitality and would love to come back! Thank you for everything! Only thing I could recommend to have a bin close to the front door so guests can get easily rid of their thrash they...
