Großgasthof Unterwirt Inh Fam. Hasenauer — Hotel in Maishofen

Terrible. I do NOT recommend!!! At first look is Gasthof very old and worn hotel. And inside is it same. Food isn't good and taste like be prepared from instant ingredients. Other people who were accommodated in hotel says that rooms stinks of cigarettes and bathroom is full of mold. We stayed at depandance Gabi, which is very very old house. The room equipment was like from 80's and rooms were a little bit cold and without locks on door because they were torn out. Everywhere dirty and kitchen we were afraid to use it. And when we made a complain, the owners tell us that we have more than we paid...

I have stayed here many times as a coach driver on ski trips with British school kids . Yes the hotel could do with a mild refurbishment but you can't beat it for the price. English is spoken by the owners and they and the staff are very pleasant. Sadly there is no WiFi but other than that all is good. Plenty of free parking is available. I am currently here with my wife on a short summer break. September 2025. Keep up the good work...

It was fantastic stay for our cycling holiday! Our group of 22 was warmly welcomed and everything ran smoothly. Clean rooms, great breakfast, and kind staff. Very bike-friendly (possibility to store bikes indoors) and perfect for groups. We were accomodated in private villa with possibility of bus parking. Highly recommended from...
