It all looks good, but I haven’t tried any blue yet and stayed at the bottom practice area as I heard from others the blue have quite some steep and difficult slopes. There is no information about angles per blue slope so I am too scared to try one. One of our group already completely torn her knee muscles yesterday so I know the dangers. What is the easiest blue to try? Which you can reach easily and doesn’t make you commit to too steep slopes? They told me blue number 4 is the easiest? It would be nice if Nauders could add this info to their map ;)
Edit: As I couldn’t wait, I tried the 4 already. Doable, but you have to take a red short slope to the gondola first. As the end is steep and people were standing there, I sidestepped down as I don’t want to endanger people. Funny thing is we got hit while waiting in line at the bottom. 4 was doable and perfect to practice. I just waited until people went by and took my time. I will try some more and when my braking is in order I will to try the long way down instead of the gondola (A) ride :) Thanks for the info, I hope your reply and mine also helps others in my situation. One thing: I indeed practiced at the middle station on that carpet lift (left one). The right one it seems is just for people who take lessons? Or...
Read moreGreat for hiking, Great for mtb, Great for kids to play. But 1 star for transparency about price for small family. Also is the kart not included. 0 stars for the kart start. This is real dangerous! Big gully in the road and people crash right in the beginning. Also the road to go down is not so safe.
I would make the road to go down safer by filling up the deep holes! I upload a movie so you can see what happens. Also I would manage that the cassier would tell the customers it is safer to go arround. About the transparency, I mean that downstairs it looks like the cart is included. A small family card is only for 1 adult and a kid but it is know were...
Read moreAs a beginner, I found the slopes at Nauders very difficult to deal with - I took a lift up the mountain with my friends and I discovered that there was no blue slope from top to bottom. Additional lifts that could transport skiers between blue slopes would have been a nice add-on. I fell halfway down a red slope, and had to walk all the way down. It did not feel safe. For advanced skiers, this place must be amazing. There are a lot of different ways to reach the bottom, and I've had many friends say they enjoyed...
