If you are looking for something very special , and don't have any budget limits 'then this little piece of paradise could be the richt place for you!||We have enjoyed short visits to this hotel now for more then 10 years ,the fantastic position right on the lake with its large lawned area for the guests to relax and sunbathe in is quite unique, not to forget the fabulous Sauna right on the lake ... surely this must be one of the most spectacular saunas in the whole of Austria! ||The bedrooms are a generous size with walk-in easy access showers, and very tastefully decorated (indeed the whole hotel is beautifully furnished with very unique and inviting warm colour combinations )||The restaurant is excellent, especially the evening with the " Romantic dinner " including live music,||Very well played ,and tasteful music choices . ||The deserts deserve a special mention as they were of a continuous outstanding standard .||But I suppose one of the most important aspects of a hotel like this ,is the staff . Nowadays it isn't easy to find people who are willing to work in the Hotel industry ,but here again ,everybody is friendly ,and makes you feel ||At ease and at home. ||This Hotel is An absolute Highlight for us every year.||Just one very small point that we missed this year, ||was a bottle of curtesy mineral water in the room .||Best regards and keep up the good work...

Forget all these people jetting to Greece, Turkey and Italy, go to Austria, to the Lake District of Kärnten and stay in one of these small, luxury hotels where you forget everything. The Millstätter See is one of the deepest lakes, the water so clear, you could drink it, no motorboats (maybe 2 or 3...), no one jetting on loud water bikes. No villages or buildings on one side of the lake, only a forest and small beaches, on the sunny side maybe four small towns with a few hotels. The Seefischer Hotel will take you back in history with direct access to the lake, a sauna in a small wooden hut above the water from wehere you can jump into the lake naked and no one cares. A wonderful spa, in and out door pool, a breakfast you can't leave and a dinner that is difficult to find in a luxury restaurant in London or Paris. Bur maybe the most impressive experience is the staff, from the girl who brings you a soft bolded egg in the morning to the owner who will talk to you during dinner, everyone extremely friendly, sometimes even funny making jokes and always trying to make you feel comfortable. If you remember stories from your grandparents how they enjoyed summer holidays in 'old times', go to the Seefischer Hotel, they will take you back into your grand parents time with all the modern interior you...

Such a fabulous hotel. We had our wedding at this wonderful and beautiful place. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, the wedding day ran so smoothly because of all of their efforts. The hotel is clean and modern and the rooms are stunning with all of the guests commenting on how amazing and spacious they are. We can't fault the hotel in any way and would highly recommend anyone to stay there or have their wedding too. The food was also outstanding, sourcing their own deer and produce from local farmers. Overall it was a very pleasant and amazing day!

Very nice hotel/restaurant next to the lake. We went here after driving past the lake for 30 minutes trying to find a place to drink a beer. This hotel stood out to us and the personnel is very friendly. We were not even guests of the hotel yet we felt very welcome to sit on the terrace. We ordered nice cocktails and apfel strudel and they were both amazing. Definitely coming back!

+ Lovely location, spa and rooms. Good food. - Service in the restaurant/bar not very satisfying for a 4s category hotel. While having breakfast or dinner, service staff already prepares the tables, dishes and the noisy cuttleries for the evening or breakfast setting. Rough language between staff members in front of the guests. Service is slow and unprofessional unfortunately.
