My family has been coming here for nearly 40 years, hiking in summer and skiing in winter. This is a lovely, very quiet place near the far end of the valley, but with easy access to the restaurants, nightlife, and/or shopping of either Saalbach or Hinterglemm. With their breakfast offerings and kitchen available for preparing evening meals, we usually only eat out on the trails (the almhutten are a must) or slopes. Most rooms are for couples, though other parts of the farmhouse have larger, family-style rooms with bunk beds. There is a shared toilet in the hallway, although all rooms have a sink and shower. Hanni and Andrea treat everyone like family and will go out of their way to make everyone's stay as special...
Read moreReally awesome. We were able to have bread delivered each morning. Lots of towels, we used their pool which was awesome for the kids, 3 & 5 years old. Playground had enough to keep them occupied, flat area for play tractor and bikes. Bunnies liked to be fed dandelion leafs. Lots of games, puzzles and block toys if it was raining. The chalets are part of a farm with chicken (so fresh eggs are available!) bulls and goats. So if you have children in your group ask if you can see the animals!
