Decided to walk to this restaurant after finally giving up on skiing. And heck, am I glad I did. It was very quiet when I arrived. The owner showed me to the restaurant and made me feel very welcome. I couldn't read the menu, but the owner explained as well as she could what was available. (There was a language issue, but that was all on me, not the restaurant -I was in Austria after all and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience) I ordered the bacon dumplings with sauerkraut and I was not disappointed. Absolutely beautiful. The owner also ensured that I enjoyed my table for 1 for as long as I wanted, even though it was getting busier, showing some eager locals to another restaurant room when they began to take over my table. Read moreMost kind people ever. After a hike with my new wheelchair for a hour and half we finally saw Rammern Alm.
My chair was almost empty, but the Rammern Alm had a huge doorstep, the staff kindly helped me inside and made a longer power cord so I was able to enjoy some hot chocolate and charge at the same time. The owners even declined any tips for their splendid services. So goodhearted.
