I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Gut Brandlhof, and I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was struck by its stunning design—everything looks like it’s straight out of a magazine. The blend of modern elegance and cozy charm creates an inviting atmosphere that truly sets the tone for a relaxing getaway.
The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Whether it was at check-in or during my meals, their warmth and attentiveness were evident at every turn. Speaking of meals, I highly recommend opting for the half-board option! The dinner was absolutely delicious, with a variety of dishes that catered to every palate. Thanks to the waiters who really stood out. Each evening felt like a culinary adventure!
The lobby area was a cozy haven, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Plus, the extensive spa area is a true highlight. I spent hours enjoying the different saunas, including the alpine sauna and steam room, and the cool down room was refreshing after a long session of relaxation. The indoor and outdoor pools were perfect for a dip, and I appreciated the variety of sport activities available, like the gym, squash, bowling, and tennis.
Overall, Hotel Gut Brandlhof exceeded all my expectations. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful setting with TOP-NOTCH amenities. I would return in a heartbeat—this place is a true gem! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a...
Read moreVery good, but can’t quite give it 5/5.
All the staff are lovely, the food is good, the bar is good enough, and the spa is lovely and well-appointed. Location is beautiful with towering mountains all around.
The rooms are decent, although our “double” bed was two singles pushed together (so therefore a gap between mattresses), and there is no minibar/fridge - instead there’s a vending machine near the stairs. Hmm. Additionally there’s no kettle/tea/coffee in the rooms, which seems common in Europe but always feels like a gap in provision.
The rooms have no ironing facility, but the hotel information says there is an ironing room on each floor, which would be sensible. However, when you ask for the key, you find there is no such room, and your only option is to pay €5 per shirt for laundry service to do it for you. Obviously you only find this out on the evening of your event dinner, so while reception say they can “probably” sort you out in time, they actually can’t, so you’re stuck with an un-ironed shirt. Ho hum.
Also… why can no hotel ever provide a wardrobe with enough height to hang a full-length dress? This is a hotel specializing in conferences and “posh” events such as might demand posh frocks, but while the (otherwise lovely) wardrobe is about 2.5m tall, inside there is a shelf below the hanging rail so it’s really only good for shirts...
Read moreThis hotel makes a great first impression with its grand entrance and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. We stayed in a junior suite, which was very spacious with a large bathroom, a comfortable seating area, and a private terrace overlooking the pool.|The outdoor pool and wellness area were fantastic. We really enjoyed spending time there and found it a great place to relax after a day of exploring and golf.|Breakfast was extensive and offered something for everyone. Dinner was also good, though we would recommend choosing from the à la carte menu over the half-board option for a bit more variety and flexibility.|The on-site golf course is nicely situated between the mountains, which was special; however, the constant noise from the nearby road can be a bit distracting. There are also other great golf courses in the area, such as Urslautal, which we personally preferred for its quieter and more serene setting with...
