Hotel Konradin — Hotel in Silz

I read some of the previous posts and frankly I think they had the wrong location. This has been one of my favorite holiday locations. The staff have been extremely friendly, welcoming, polite and nothing was ever too much trouble. The meals were delicious and frankly the choices of starters, entree’s, mains & deserts have been nothing short of exceptional. I would not only highly recommend this Hotel, but fully intend to return with more family members.|Accommodation was comfortable, warm, amazing views over the entire resort and whilst enjoying our evening dinner our beds were turned down and our PJ’s neatly left for us ready to jump into bed. The facilities are also|Top quality, ski equipment room storage with individual warmers for your boots, Spa Treatments Galore and a most amazing indoor pool, solarium, sauna and a fully fitted out gym with all the latest equipment. I would like to thank one staff member in particular, Jan, who after only having started the week prior to our arrival, was incredible and nothing was ever a problem. The Chef was also very talented and her meals were well worth the wait at dinner time. The entire staff were extremely helpful and a special shout out to the taxi driver that the Hotel uses. Impeccable timing, very skilled with his driving for the extreme conditions and made you feel safe and comfortable at all times. So in closing, i would most definitely recommend this Hotel for a location to have a holiday either with family or as time away for a quiet break away. We spent a week at the Konradin with our 4 children, who had a great time both in the hotel and on the slopes (great funpark!).||We liked the pool and the pool-area. We also liked the sauna, which is really clean but old-school and lacking extra towels and soap (probably reason for absence of crowds, a plus for us :-)||We had a suite with two bedrooms. Our bedroom was modern and new, with a beautiful bathroom, the children's room older, with a very small bathroomt (for four). My brother had a single room on the third floor which was clean but really old style too.||Service personnel very very nice and friendly. They pass by the rooms at least 2 times a day, leaving something nice on the pillow every night.||The restaurant is calm, even when fully booked. We appreciated the menu with the choice of main dish (every day choice between meat, fish and veggie). The food is more sophisticated than straight Tyrolian plates, very tasty every time, yet not really refined either. Overall good quality, though. For breakfast, we could order any kind of coffee, any kind of eggs at the table, which was very comfortable.||The only thing the restaurant lacks is a good supervisor. Someone who coordinates both kitchen and restaurant and gives clear orders. That would certainly help to avoid small annoyances such as long waiting times between courses, missing plates at...

This was our first family ski holiday to Austria, and we didn’t know what to expect. After reading some of the previous reviews on this place, I was a little sceptical but the hotel surpassed our expectations.||Extremely friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing, with a great selection, excellent meals and quick service. Special mention to Jan, our waiter - thank you! You were amazing!||Hotel was clean, and warm with good facilities and lovely bathrooms. Internet speed was a little slow, but free and easy to connect. After getting back late from Italy one evening due to bad weather, the dinner staff had prepared a private meat platter with bread and cheeses for us, and had waited back until we arrived safely (at 10pm!) ||Only criticism would be that for non-German speaking tourists, it could be a little difficult to get by but the reception staff had perfect English. ||We will definitely be...
