Dominic (the owner) and his team were most welcoming, in ways we can't thank them enough for.

One, for our arrival in Fulpmes, not only were we late due to earlier travel delays, we were also completely lost. His colleague patiently waited for almost 45 minutes at the pick-up point, before driving us up the mountain in complete darkeness (barring the headlights of the vehicle). Likewise, when we had to catch an early bus ride to Innsbruck two days later, another colleague volunteered to drive us down the mountain at 0530, two hours earlier than his usual working hours.

Two, amazing service by the service team in the kitchen - taking time to introduce the various Austrian cuisine during the meal time, checking in on us between the dishes, and of course, the serving of hearty and sumptious Austrian fare. Dominic took time to welcome us on our second evening, and shared a moment of downing complimentary shots of Schnapps.

Three, the alm offers a breathtaking view of the snow-capped mountains in the day, and star-lit skies in the night; there are family friendly ski slopes just outside the alm.

Du bist der Erste auf der unberührten Piste! Ihr wollt mittendrin sein und gleichzeitig Ruhe und authentische Atmosphäre, dann musst ihr genau hierhin! Wir haben schon verschiedene Varianten für einen schönen Skiurlaub ausprobiert. Hier vereinen sich alle Aspekte, die man für einen perfekten Urlaub im Schnee braucht. Solo oder mit Familie, die Schlickeralm ist eine beliebte Almhütte im Skigebiet Schlick 2000. Sie bietet für ihre Gäste saubere und liebevoll eingerichtete Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten und Halbpension mit richtig leckeren und auch typisch österreichischen Gerichten ( selbstgemacht!: Käsespätzle, Apfelstrudel, verschiedene Suppen (auch vegetarisch, auch die üblichen Verdächtigen, wie Pommes und Nuggets oder Nudeln kannst du hier bekommen)) für Gäste, die eine authentische Bergatmosphäre suchen. Die Hütte liegt allein inmitten der wunderschönen Tiroler Alpen und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die umliegende Landschaft. Du wirst wie ein VIP vom Hüttenpersonal im Tal abgeholt, dort kann man auch die Skiausrüstung ausleihen (sogar mit Rabatt als Hüttenbewohner (im Laden HP)). Die Halbpension beinhaltet ein reichhaltiges Frühstück mit allem was man für den Tag auf der Piste braucht und ein schmackhaftes Abendessen (das Hauptgericht kann man aus 2 Alternativen selbst auswählen), um die Gäste nach einem aktiven Tag auf der Piste zu verwöhnen. Ein weiteres Highlight ist der Baron, ein riesen Sennenhund, der so liebevoll und gutmütig mit allen Gästen ist ❤️ Wer seinen eigenen Hund mitbringen möchte kann das hier gern tun. Direkt an der Hütte ist ein super Übungslift, ein 4er Lift nach fast ganz oben. Auch eine kleine freeride Strecke mit Hügeln direkt neben der Strecke. We really liked this alm, stayed there for 4 days and even with rainy weather it was very nice. The stuff was extremely friendly (even helped us getting something for our car from the village), the food had big portions and was super yummy. The way up to the alm (by your own car) could be a bit challenging and it's worth it. We can really recommend it! It is also a very dog friendly hotel in tirol, so a lot of people go there for a walk with their dogs. And other animals you will find that kids also could like (pigs, chicken, rabbits,...
