Haus Bergblick — Hotel in Tragöß-Sankt Katharein

We stayed here for 2 nights in August 2025. I was very delighted with the place, pretty much the last village in the valley, 10-15 minutes walk to where the trail begins with Grüner See. The older couple who runs the place is lovely, my wife speaks some German so we could get by, but with simple English it should have been fine as well. We booked 2 rooms, and we got the apartment on the second floor which are 3 rooms that opens the from the top of the stairs: 2 bedrooms and a dining room kitchen for us. The decor of the place is 80's 90's, but it is kept is immaculate condition. Very confortable and quiet place (with the exception when other guests are leaving). There is parking for all rooms, breakfast offering was perfect for us. Views are perfect from the upstairs rooms. I can definitely recommend staying here. This is an absolute gem. Annamarie the host is really nice and speaks English, which was very useful as we sadly do not speak German. The house itself is like from a German fairytale, surrounded by mountains and green fields. The rooms are basic but have everything you need.
