As every year happens during the Faaker See International Bike Week, Harley Davidson, my wife and I with some dear friends, in total we were four couples (husbands with their wives), we granted ourselves a 5-day vacation to visit the most beautiful bikers event in Europe the Faaker See, Villach, Drobollach and all the beautiful neighboring areas. We all stayed overnight in hotel, the Radhotel, which did not offer breakfast service, so in the morning we crossed the street and went, for years, to this hotel / restaurant / bar. Every day we paid for breakfast, depending on how much was taken, from 11/16 Euros, each of us! I dare say not a little for a breakfast consisting of: a croissant, a roll with jam, a cappuccino or tea, and a glass of orange juice. But this was not the problem!However, I shall express my negative opinion on the very arrogant and rude behavior of the staff, especially the head waitress (perhaps she is also the mistress of the place) and the Manager (ho is also the owner of the place), ho have reached levels of ignorance, and rudeness rarely visible in a public place like this. While doing our breakfasts we have repeatedly noticed their bad behavior, with us and with other customers, proving to be non-professional people in their work and with a low cultural level. Especially with us, perhaps because Italians, who despite being a group of 8 people, we have always behaved in a polite and respectful way towards staff and other customers. I'm sorry to say, but we've been abused by them very badly. In previous years and also this year, we have often found errors on the presented bills (always in excess, as it happens, never in default). We have always avoided mentioning this and wanted to consider the extra money we paid as a sort of tip to the waitresses. One morning, however, after paying the bill, I take a look at the receipt and I notice that as usual we had been counted the wrong things (it was 5 € more than it should be), have been treated not nicely that morning, I decided to claim the correct calculation of the bill and i decided to stuck with my request with the due kindness and education, I pointed out to the head waitress, who was wrong to do the calculation! She did not like it at all and without reason told me that I was trying to steal money from her! At that point my determination to make it clear there was a mistake, became more incisive and I pretended to speak with the Manager to assert our rights. The Manager intervened in the discussion, the waitress spoke with him in the South Tyrolean dialect, incomprehensible to me, and both looking at me with an air of contempt told me that I was a dishonest who wanted to steal their money! Going forward with the discussion, they then said textual words: "Tiefs!" Ahh, the usual Italians Tiefs only Tiefs !!!! "He opens the box and slams a 5 euro note in my face!" "Just take it and go away from here! "!. In response, my reaction was to take the 5 ticket euro to hold it in my hand and through it in her face as she did to me. Her reply was dirty Italian! Poor of mind, ignorant,Troglodytes, low level culture and of corse racist! I said to myself: "But, what horrible people still can be found around" Neither do dozens of other" Dirty Italians "like me we will return to this place. Since then, when I have the chance to talk about this hotel / restaurant, to friends and people I know I invest all my energy to spread my "Word of mouth / NEGATIVE Judgment", giving the necessary explanations. The thing has happened now to hundreds of times and will continue to happen! I don't want to explain anything to these ugly people, because they don't deserve me to pass them any information to improve themselves. Contempt from the bottom of my heart these behaviors. In the end, everything translates into the lack of professionalism in the poor culture and intelligence. THEY ARE ONLY THE POOR TROGLODYTES ....... THAT GOD...
Read moreSa, 05.05. ca. 18 Uhr (ohne Reservierung) _ Bestelltes Essen: Pizza Salami 8,30- EUR Nachtisch: Schokoladenküchlein 6,50- EUR _ Location: 7 von 10 Essen: 8,5 von 10 Bedienung: 7,5 von 10 Preise: 8 von 10 (für Österreichesche Verhältnisse) _ Location: Die eine Hälfte des Restaurants ist wirklich bezaubernd hergerichtet und macht einen sehr einladenden Eindruck, die andere Seite ist jedoch eher etwas „zünftiger“ / „altbackend“. Sehr gut ist, dass man (je nach dem wo man sitzt) dem Pizzabäcker beim Zubereiten der Pizza zuschauen kann. Hatte ich schon erwähnt, dass es sich um einen Steinofen handelt? - sehr lecker. _ Essen: (Wartezeit: ca. 10 Minuten) Die Portion bzw. die Pizza gleicht schon fast einem Wagenrad; man sollte also Hunger mitbringen. Wir sind auch schon im letzten Jahr dort gewesen und da es uns so gut gefallen hat, mussten wir ja quasi in diesem Jahr wieder dort einkehren. Wir sind erneut nicht enttäuscht worden. Die Pizza aus dem Steinofen schmeckt einfach / irgendwie besser und dass man dem Pizza- Bäcker auch noch bei seiner Arbeit zuschauen kann, grandios. Nachtisch: MEGA "Yummy" (neumodisches Wort für "lecker")! _ Bedienung: Genau der selbe Kellner wie im letzten Jahr, auch die Chefin war an dem Abend wieder vor Ort. Wir sind freundlich begrüßt, bewirtet und verabschiedet worden. Eine Kleinigkeit wäre vielleicht zu erwähnen: Das Erscheinungsbild des Kellners dürfte minimal "ordentlicher" ausfallen - seine Haare sehen recht fettig / ungepflegt aus (war im letzten Jahr aber auch schon so). _ Preise: für Österreichesche Verhältnisse sogar recht günstig. Wir haben im letzten Jahr mehrmals Pizza im Urlaub gegessen und die Lokalitäten / Restaurants waren alle teurer. Wenn man dann noch die Portionen bzw. die Größe der Pizza bedenkt, ist das wirklich...
Read moreÈ un locale che ci sentiamo di consigliare esclusivamente per la pizza (forno a legna, pizzaiolo italiano ...), senz'altro tra le migliori della zona (ed anche di tante zone Italiane, se è per questo). Fosse solo questione di pizza, meriterebbe senz'altro tre palline e 1/2. ||Per il resto ... l'atmosfera è tipicamente austriaca: fredda, meccanica, rigidamente preordinata (il ristorante greco di Villach, per dire, è tutto un altro mondo. Lì qualche volta potrete anche godervi i camerieri che escono in strada a ballare il Sirtaki, nello sgomento dell'intera via. Qui non abbiamo mai visto un cameriere anche solo sorridere ..). Cortesia (??) dei proprietari, molto distaccata. Tenetevi fermamente alla larga dalla loro tanto decantata prima colazione. Per lo stesso prezzo troverete facilmente di più abbondante e, soprattutto, di molto meglio. ||Tavoli all'aperto affacciati sulla strada, e con le macchine parcheggiate proprio di fianco (de gustibus ..). Ma se una volta usciti non farete altro che andare diritto davanti a voi (attraversate la strada, oltrepassate il Minigolf, attraversate un'altra piccola stradina ..), vi godrete una delle migliori viste del lago. ||||N.B.: la vista del lago, dopo aver mangiato la pizza, sconsigliata alle persone facilmente...
