If you want luxury don’t go to this hotel, but if you like a cosy, warm and convenient cottage, 5 minutes away from the local ski resort book now. ||Maria, the landlady, is the highlight of this residence as she is so friendly, welcoming and all round nice. ||We stayed at the cabin, which was clean, always warm with real log fire and big enough for our family of four. Maria served us a wonderful cooked breakfast for two days and we cooked our own breakfast for another three. A very pleasant place to stay - some really excellent accomodations, emulating a household (we rented an apartment with a kitchenette), ran by a very nice host and all that amidst a breath-taking countryside, which can be enjoyed by foot. Es gibt viele schöne Orte, aber hier erhole ich mich immer noch am besten: Frische klare Waldluft, eine einsame Waldhütte direkt an einem kleinen Bach, nebenan die Pension, wo man immer schnell alles bekommt, was man so braucht. Denn der persönliche Service und die Herzlichkeit von Frau Pein sind das, was diese Pension einzigartig macht. Deshalb gehören wir mittlerweile zu den Stammgästen und bevorzugen gerade jetzt in Corona-Zeiten die Abgeschiedenheit des Ortes. Schwammerl suchen, im ein paar km entfernten See baden, einsame Bergwanderungen oder einfach nur faul vor der Hütte liegen und chillen: Erholung ist hier garantiert. Wer Sehenswürdigkeiten sucht, kann alles rund ums Bergwerk, die Montana-Universität und wunderschöne Kirchen finden. Das Herz der Steiermark wird er in jedem Fall erleben.
