Rösslgut Bed & Breakfast — Hotel in Zederhaus

I am not sure what other people found good about this property, but we found it an absolute joke. Not sure where to start, it was that poor. First of all, there is no one to greet you, just a 12 year old kid who doesn't speak much English, but bless her - she tried. Secondly, you will be sleeping right above the horse stables (not mentioned in the description), with all the flies and smell (see the photo). When you enter the property, you must not wear your shoes but their sleepers instead which have been worn by so many before you (see the picture). The rooms are basic, with low door frames, I hit my head several times quite badly. The internet is non-existent, you cannot use the TV neither because it gets signal via WiFi which doesn't work. The property is remote to mobile phone masts, so no luck with using you mobile data either. All in all, this must be the worst B&B stay in my life, and I stayed in 1000's of accommodations around the world. To communicate with anyone, you must do via phone with the owner who I believe lives in Vienna. When I asked for a receipt, the lady who eventually turned up did it on on a post-it note. Great accommodation! We came as a family with 2 kids (5&1) spontaneously for a stopover on our way to Slovenia and were positively surprised. There was homemade pastry available, fruits and drinks and we were very nicely welcomed by Elisabeth. The room had a loft bed for the kids and a very comfortable double bed for us parents. We also loved the outdoor spa area (sauna and whirlpool) and Breakfast was very delicious!😊 The kids were even offered to ride their little pony - great experience! VERY...
