A very bad hotel that does not even deserve half a star. It took three hours to check in, and I was coming from a very tiring trip. The worst thing is that my reservation was available, but my room was not available. I was given an abandoned apartment outside the hotel building, but I refused it because the place was not clean. Then I was given another room, but in a dilapidated condition, as the door lock was broken and the water tap was broken. My clothes were soaked with a lot of water, as the receptionist did not inform me that the water tap was broken in this room, and I have a clear video recording to prove that. After that, I was given an alternative room, as the total was three rooms because my original room that I booked was not available. In this regard, I requested to cancel my reservation from the hotel due to the unavailability of the room that was booked with the same conditions. I asked to speak with the hotel manager, but he refused to speak with me repeatedly until I insisted on that. He spoke to me, and his manner was impolite. I told him that my room was not available, so I did not want an alternative room, but I wanted to cancel it, but he refused in a rude manner, as he interrupted me while talking, saying, “I will not cancel the reservation, I will not cancel the reservation.” Indeed, the reservation was not canceled, and then I was bartered by the receptionist, where he told me not to explain this problem and to give them an excellent rating on Booking in exchange for a plate of fruit, so I refused and told him that I did not want anything from him and that the correct rating would be given to the guests who would come after me. In the end, I do not recommend this hotel to be on your platform, even if it is at the dirty level, and there is a foul smell in the corridors and rooms as if it has not been cleaned for years.

Unprofessional staff, lazy and care less. I spent 30 mints to check in and there was no crowed. Requested baby bed during check in and they confirm to send it to my room, in the evening I found no bed in my room I went to reception to ask him to send the bed he said sorry housekeeping left now and tomorrow will provide one, I refused and asked him to change the room and give me 3 bed room I was very angry then he said OK come with me to store I will give you bed and he asked me to pay 40 manat for bed because it is big bed not baby bed, I told him are you drunk??. Next day my wife went to breakfast which was included in the hotel booking the guy in the restaurant asked my wife to pay 12 manat for breakfast then I came and show him the booking on my phone and he said go to reception to correct it in my list it show your room bed only without breakfast, went to reception and I was waiting for 10 mints to solve this silly issue. I the swimming pool I ordered 2 Burger it came after 40 mints could with bad tast. Rooms furniture is old, door sound isolation is Zero i general bad experience.

I visited Baku in April 2025 & stayed at this hotel. My first room had a city view, old furniture , a bit cold & a leaking bidet I had to shut off at the valve, but It was fine for me. I stayed 6 days & for the last two, I paid in cash. The staff were very nice & upgraded me to a sea-view room as a compliment, it was much better, with a beautiful stunning sea view & balcony. It was too cold to use the beach or pool, & the sauna wasn’t working. The beach has seashells in the sand, so wearing shoes is a good idea. The rooms were clean & quiet. The main downside is the hotel location, it’s far from the city & there are no shops nearby, though there’s a bus stop next door. Breakfast was ok, but some glasses were old or chipped, but it was ok for me. When I arrived early around 11:30 am, my room wasn’t ready, so I had to wait. Overall, I enjoyed my stay & felt comfortable at this hotel. Next time, I’d probably pick a hotel in the city to save time, but if I want beach access, I’d consider coming back here especially since there is no beach inside the city.

We had a horrible experience with this hotel.

2 days before our check-in date we were already seeing a LOT of bad reviews for this hotel, so we requested to cancel the booking and wave the fee. Apparently they don't respond and even when booking.com tried to contact them, they also did not respond.

So, we still proceeded on the stay because anyway they will charge us for it. We reached our room and we noticed that the walls were so thin the when the next room turns on their exhaust fan, we can hear it. Also, there was a construction going on the room above us so we contacted the reception and requested to move us to a different room. They said 15minutes and it will be done, however it went on for a couple of hours.

During the evening we went down to the restaurant and ordered 2 coffees and cheese sticks. It took long time for the cheese sticks to come, we finished our coffees already when finally the cheese sticks came. The middle was still cold so obviously it was frozen and they fried it so the outside is hot and the inside is cold. We called the waiter and told him about it. He brought it back to the kitchen. But we did not want it anymore. We went to the reception and told him to just charge it in our room.

A few minutes later the waiter came to our room and delivered the cheese sticks but we told him we did not want it anymore, yet he insisted.

During the night we can't sleep as we we're having stomach pain, we had diarrhea and we were also puking. In the morning around 5-6 AM we went out to look for a hospital. However, it was very hard for us to communicate even with google translate because no one spoke english. Each hospital (Total 4) we went to keeps on passing us to another hospital. In the end we gave up and went back to the hotel very frustrated.

We reached the hotel around 8AM and asked the reception if we can talk to the manager. She said there is no manager and he will come by 10 AM. So during the hotel operating hours there is no Manager on duty????

We checked out at 12noon and again asked for the manager. We explained to him what happened. It seems that this guy did not know what customer service/guest service is. Instead of apologizing and offering help. He kept telling us that no other guest had food poisoned and all their food were fresh. He even brought the chef our. I don't see the point because the guy doesn't speak english.

So here is an advise for the hotel to handle it better for future reference. 1st he should have apologized on behalf of the hotel and 2nd he should have offered solutions instead of letting the guests leave the hotel premises ill as this can have legal issues in the future. He can offer taking the guest to the hospital in order to help them communicate with the doctors OR have a doctor come and check on the guests.

I hope the management will be aware of what is happening and improve their...

I recently stayed at Ramada Hotel Baku, and unfortunately, the overall experience was far from what I expected from a well-known international brand. i was in room 404 from 3july 2025 to 8 july 2025||Starting with the check-in: there was no staff at the entrance to assist with luggage. I had to carry everything on my own. At reception, the staff were not welcoming at all—no smile, no warmth, and barely any English spoken. From the very first moment, I didn't feel like a valued guest.||The room was disappointing. While the view was nice, the furniture was extremely old, and the overall condition of the room felt worn out and not well maintained. On a positive note, the housekeeping team did an excellent job—clean, efficient, and consistent throughout my stay.||Breakfast was a major letdown. The food selection was very poor and basic, with barely anything appetizing to eat. The service was also lacking. Staff uniforms were inconsistent, some wore proper uniforms, others were in different outfits, and one waiter was even working in casual clothes. One evening, a waiter was taking my order when his phone rang. Without saying a word, he answered it and walked away mid-conversation, leaving me speechless. He returned a few minutes later and continued as if nothing had happened. This level of service was completely unprofessional.||Another issue I noticed was staff smoking in guest areas, specifically between the pool and bar. This is not only unprofessional, but also unpleasant for guests trying to enjoy the outdoor space. It raises questions about how the hotel manages staff behavior and guest comfort.||The only positive part of my stay was at the spa. Revane, the therapist, was truly professional and welcoming. Her attitude stood out in a hotel where I otherwise felt like just another number. She's the only person who made me feel truly taken care of.||Lastly, during checkout, I was asked by the receptionist to leave a good review. While I understand the importance of feedback, I believe in being honest. My intention is not to criticize harshly, but to highlight areas where the hotel can improve.||Hospitality is not just about facilities; it's about how guests are treated. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and invests more in staff training, guest service, and professionalism across all departments.||Thank...
