We have been coming to the island for 14 years. We love staying at PCBeach club. Leslie and Ned are so accommodating. They are centrally located on the island. I definitely recommend renting a car if you want to explore. The honor tiki bar on site is fully stocked but if they are missing something you want Ned will do his best to get it. This is not the place to come if you have to be connected to phone TV social media. THIS IS WHERE YOU DISCONNECT FROM THE WORLD. Enjoy the beautiful views find sea life and enjoy the people you are with.

Sitting in chilly Massachusetts the morning after returning from a beautiful week at Pigeon Cay Beach Club- my bones are cold but my heart if FULL (and my skin is tan lol) and I'm feeling compelled to share our experience with other fellow travelers. Note- this place is located on an extremely quiet island that takes effort and keen planning to get to- this is not for those looking for any sort of 'all-inclusive' trip with lots of convenient activities- however it was EXACTLY what my husband and I were looking for to take a short break from the cold New England winter. ||||From easy booking and clear communication on travel tips to making us feel right at home, Lesie and Ned were the perfect hosts! We are vegan and enjoy cooking our own meals on vacation so Lesie's suggestion to stock up on groceries (including produce!) before arriving was key. We got everything we needed at Solomon's on Nassau (including vegan cheeses, milks and alternative meat products- just like in the states)- note filtered drinking water is provided in the cabins. They provided a large box that we were able to check for out flight to Cat Island. Leslie even procured some local dairy free muffins and biscuits during our stay which was extra sweet. Kitchen was fully stocked- including SHARP kitchen knives- this is something that is often overlooked in most rentals- but tiny details such as this really made our trip even better. Ned and his amazing kitchen team created a delicious meal one of the nights with a vegan version just for us, which we enjoyed family style with the other guests- who were all delightful and have been repeat visitors to this property -some for over two decades!||||As dog lovers, we often miss our pups back home when traveling- this was thoroughly remedied through the company of the resident pups Nala and Yoda- they were so incredibly sweet (but also protective of the property at night- which was reassuring)- however they were very intuitive and respectful if dogs aren't your thing. ||||The beach was pristine with pink sand and shallow clear blue water with snorkeling spots that you can access via moderate walks, kayaking or a short drive from the property. The cabins are spacious and clean and each have a private view of the beach along with lounge chairs, a hammock and free use of kayaks, paddle boards and snorkel gear. ||||A few things worth mentioning:||||-there were a ton of 'no-see-ums' and mosquitoes (mostly at dawn and dusk) BUT there was ample bug spray and smoke coils available- as well as ongoing smoke fires (which smelled SO GOOD- like Palo Santo) around the property. As needed antihistamines also helped with the itching- def did not affect our trip in a negative way as this IS a remote tropical island ;) ||||-early mornings and nights can get a bit chilly (at least in Jan)- so def recommend bringing socks, long pants and a sweatshirt- which also helped with the bugs and during stargazing- which was INCREDIBLE!!||||-we rented a car (which Leslie coordinated for us) the last 2 days to explore the rest of the island- which is absolutely beautiful BUT we quickly realized that everything we needed was right on Pigeon Cay- so a car rental is not totally necessary for a full experience. ||||Full disclaimer, I never write reviews, but we had such an amazing time, I felt the need to share- Pigeon Cay Beach Resort is such a special place- we will DEFINITELY be returning in the...

my Wife and I have been visiting PCBC for 11 years with 300+ days on Cat Island, it is a great deal of travel for us to get there. Our recent stay from April 8 to May 9th this year was fabulous and exactly what we know when staying with Ned and Leslie at PCBC. We love the laid back home feel of PCBC. Ned & Leslie treat us as family and are warm and friendly. They fit the low-cay, slower pace life style we all joke about, called "island time"! I could use every cliche about disconnecting from the humanity rat race, noise, chaos of the modern world, what have you, and it would all be absolutely true! If you are a pet lover and have friends at home you are missing you can get your "pet-fix" with their lovely family pets; Yoda, nala and a very special Corkimungus! All of the accommodations are Bahama island style, well appointed, comfortable and all built by Ned. Dinner provided to the guest community style is an awesome time to share island experiences with each other. The outdoor dining area is located next to the honor bar, stuffed with beverages, mixers and alcohol. The1.8 mile beach is the whitest, powdery soft sand we have experienced, it has kind of made us beach snobs lol! The ocean is strikingly clear and the most beautiful iridescent blues of the Bahamas. Perfect for evening and morning walks, swimming, paddle boarding, snorkeling and kayaking. Rental cars are a must to vist the local markets, restaurants, bakeries and visiting other points of intrest on island. Do not have high expectations for luxury vehicles, there are no fast-foods, franchise anything or chain-stores of any kind, you are supporting local families and community here. Island folks are kind, friendly and rich with Bahama tradition. Depending on your genetics, no-see-ums or mosquitoes can be annoying. I highly recommend Shake-n-Shield for no see ums, deet products for skeeters. we feel we are at home when we step off the plane, there are no strangers here, only folks you haven't met yet! do not expect luxury, concierge or pampering in the out islands, but do expect escaping the hectic modern world! We love you Ned and Leslie....
