Staying at Rollezz Villas & Beach Resort on Cat Island, The Bahamas was truly amazing. I wanted an awe inspiring location for our 30th Wedding Anniversary within the budget I had in mind. Carl, Yvonne and the staff made it the most memorable time of our lives. Seriously it was!

The location is truly picture perfect with a flavor of a National Geographic magazine. I give it very high ratings for its miles of clean secluded beaches. The ocean there is like you are swimming in the world's largest infinity pool. This westward facing coast does not have crashing waves as on much of the rest of the island so the water is quiet. It's very enjoyable.

I give their lodgings a top rating for their new buildings, cleanliness, great furnishings, beautiful decor, nice and cool air conditioning, and for me the most important, a very comfortable bed. They come with or without the pillow top mattress. Be sure to ask if you want it. Everything is so clean and fresh, you know they want you to feel completely comfortable.

I give their fresh home made food top ratings as well. Carl is a chef and he enjoys cooking for you. While he has a posted menu he enjoys serving many of the in season island favorites. Be sure to let him know of your dietary needs before you come so he is ready for your arrival.

Carl and Yvonne, knowing it was our anniversary, planed an oceanside dinner with everything in mind. Live music, beautiful setting, lobster and gruper dinner, and the staff singing to us as we cut the cake was just perfect! We felt from the beginning that they cared for us but this was above and beyond our expectations.

As a travel guide, Carl has a host of contacts, "in his back pocket" that can help you enjoy the activities you wish to participate in while here on Cat Island. From fishing to diving to renting a car, he can help you fulfill your ideal vacation. I gave him hints of what we wanted via email before we arrived and then together we fine tuned them when we got here. He really does have your best interests in mind.

My husband and I recently visited Cat Island and Rollezz Villas Beach Resort for the third time. As usual, we had an amazing time! Cat Island is a beautiful, friendly island with kind people who always have a smile on their face and gorgeous beaches. Carl and Yvonne Rolle have created a peaceful oasis that keeps calling us back. They are so proud of the little paradise they have created and it shows in all the small details. Everyone that works at Rollezz strives for perfection. Beverly works with Carl and Yvonne to create and serve beautiful meals. Jan kindly assisted us with any of our housekeeping needs. |Although we would be perfectly happy to never leave Rollezz Villas beach, it is well worth your effort to rent a car and explore the island. A visit to the Hermitage is a must on your list as well as experiencing the "Fish Fry" area. Our son and daughter in law first came on their honeymoon and joined some locals for a game of dominoes at the Fish Fry area. There are quite a few resturants located at Fish Fry with a good selection to choose from. During the slower times of the year, you do need to check to see what resturants are open. Yvonne was happy to assist us by calling to make reservations for us. Duke's Conch Stand was a treat! Duke wasn't officially open but when we drove up, he was happy to make the best, fresh conch salad while we watched and drank a Kalik beer, the wonderful beer of the Bahamas. We also visited Da Smoke Pot on the north side of the island where Julian served great food and then provided us with a Rake and Scrape concert that was so fun!|If you are looking for lots of nightlife and entertainment, Cat Island may not be for you. If you are looking for a peaceful, friendly island with the opportunity to stroll on deserted beaches, kayak, paddle board, snorkel or even scuba dive, Cat Island is your place! |Rollezz Beach Villas Resort is the perfect spot to feed your soul. Excellent service, amazing location and perfect villas, a few feet away from the ocean. Could not have gone to a better place to unwind and rejuvenate. Clear water, virgin beach and amazing privacy. The rooms were spacious , very clean, well appointed and had amazing views of the endless ocean. The kitchen had a stove and utensils, and also refrigerator and coffee makers. The WiFi was good and didn't have trouble with watching shows on Netflix. The beach was very clean and had ample chairs to lounge and bask in the sun . The hosts Yvonne and Carl took great pride and treated us like family. The delicious food was made fresh and the entire crew was super friendly and offered exemplary service. Our group had a few vegetarians and they made sure they had vegetarian food for lunch/dinner. The deserts are made every day and the best we have had, especially the blueberry cake. Carl definitely makes the best omelette. This is definitely a must visit place and we would definitely visit again. It's just 25 minute by air from Nassau. This is definitely not the regular crowded , commercial vacation place. It's more like a private island. Miss the sound of the ocean, the resort and the whole island.
