Serenity — Hotel in Exuma

A perfect vacation!

We have previously stayed in a home, just a few miles north of Serenity. I thought it was the best home and owner I had ever encountered. I was hesitant to give reviews and make recommendations because the house started booking so much that it was never available (and was not available for our trip a few weeks ago.)

What a blessing that ended up being. Now I am debating whether or not to leave a review for Serenity! It is absolute perfection. The owner, Tammie, could not be more helpful and accommodating. Even though I knew a lot about the island, she had recommendations and helpful advice for everything. The house manager, Cleo, as well as her preferred driver, Metia, took perfect care of our group of 11 ladies.

The home is immaculate and beautiful. There are so many small details taken care of that we had not even thought to request. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. There is an upstairs and downstairs living area, which is great when you have a large group. The views from the porches are unreal and the upstairs porch is the perfect place to watch the sunrise and set.

Located right on Moriah Harbor near the lazy river, you can boat out to some of the most incredible sandbars. We rented a large pontoon from Brown’s Marina that we were able to keep for our entire stay. Most of our time was spent on the water and a large part of it was just right out beyond the home because it is some of the most beautiful arts of the island.

I cannot recommend this home or owner more highly… even though it probably means the house will be rented all the time and will be hard for...

Our first trip to Exuma, and we couldn't have made a better choice for our stay. From the moment we arrived at the airport, we were in good hands, as the property manager, Cleo, was there to meet us and show us the way to the villa. She even stocked the fridge with the groceries that we pre-ordered. This was the cleanest, most well appointed rental we have ever stayed at. We wanted for nothing as it has all been thought out and set up perfectly. From the dream like view from every window and deck, to the beautiful pool and hot tub with large umbrellas for shade, it was like our own private paradise. The house had excellent AC, and a generator that was needed when the island would lose power for an hour or two. It worked seamlessly. There were many little touches that made our stay most enjoyable, such as pool floats, kayaks , bottomless ice maker, beach bags, coolers, beach towels and great wifi, which worked perfectly for streaming. We rented a boat from Browns Marina, and kept it at our place the whole time. The dock was large enough for most any boat. The quick access made the many boat trips and sunset cruises very easy. Lastly, the host, Tammie, who went above and beyond to make sure our trip was one of the best ever. She sent us a package, right after we booked, filled with island info that we used constantly. It seemed at though it was important to her that we had the best time, almost as though you were using the home of a friend. We hope that we can visit this home again...

This place is magnificent! We went as a group of 10 and the accommodations were so clean and beautiful! We were all very comfortable and the views from each of the suites were spectacular and showcased the reds and yellows of our nightly sunsets. So much fun as a group! Even able to arrange with one of the friendliest locals, Vaughn, to set up a "bubble waffle and ice cream" birthday party at the house for all of us! Simply amazing. Was hard to choose daily from swimming in the beautuful pool, sitting on their beach and umbrellas, or the ocean every day! Even kayaks and paddle boards were available to go to Moriah Harbor and there were dolphins, beautiful fish, and starfish galore! We even saw stingrays at the Chat n Chill hangout.
