Briland Club Residences & Marina — Hotel in Harbour Island

We have stayed on Harbour Island many times and the Briland Club marina is a wonderful new addition. Brand new floating docks and excellent dock staff and security team. Very polite and providing excellent service. Jackie Callender is the best marina manager we have come across (we have know her for many years). She can never do enough to please and is always striving for perfection. She knows how run a marina! Bar 480 has great atmosphere and the mixologist knows how to make excellent cocktails.The restaurant is not completed as yet and an outside kitchen run by Ricardo and Aneli is serving food of an excellent quality using the finest and freshest ingredients, despite the makeshift kitchen. The burger was one of the best I have had and the salad was super fresh and the dressing delicious. The presentation and taste of the food is indicative of the quality of this culinary duo and I believe when they get the restaurant built it will be serving the best food on the island. What an amazing place. Briland Club literally checked every box for a family vacation and creating lifelong memories. We are a family of 5 with boys 8,11,13. The house- absolutely most luxurious and comfortable place you could stay. All of the appliances and finishing are the best. Everyday the place was cleaned while we were at the beach and turn down service while we were at dinner. It was quiet, comfortable and luxurious. They put fresh water bottles by each bed twice a day. The restaurant/bar- best on the island. We tried all the main restaurants on the island and Briland has the best food, drinks, coffee, dessert, etc. The Beach- we loved the beach. Our family has never had so much fun at a beach. We took our golf cart there which takes 2 minutes. The sand and water are the best on the planet. Staff- best on the island. Michael, Melanie, Nick, CC all make you feel so welcome and like family. Can’t wait to see them...

Absolutely horrendous customer service. Tried to exchange a shirt with receipt and in its original packaging and was told we could not exchange it... No reason other than they were more than happy to screw a tourist. Do better Briland. Update to response: I wasn't wanting to return the item. I was simply trying to exchange sizes of shirt - a large for an extra large of the exact same shirt. You would have lost zero dollars in the exchange. Your staff agreed it was absurd but said they asked the owner who said no. When I questioned it they became hostile and said "we just work here, man!" Again, you showed absolutely terrible customer service and should be embarrassed, but you're apparently not and instead made reference to some obscure sign tucked away in a corner saying all sales are final. Do better Briland - what I experienced doesn't deserve...
