I maybe one of the most having negative reviews to this hotel, LAROSA HOTEL, Bahrain. First, google map is pinned incorrect! Very disappointing, roaming around juffair looking for LAROSA Hotel. Second, luckily, the rooms assigned to us were hunted it was in the 2nd floor of the hotel. The carpet was very dirty, the lighting was deemed. AC does not work we did not accept the rooms! We were give an “upgraded” rooms at the 5th floor of the hotel. It was looking good so far and spacious and no longer hunted looking hotel. Observations, 1 empty bottle was in the room (meaning, it was not checked and cleaned after the previous occupants check out the room. no towel, sabon and shampoo or no toiletries in short provided! No slippers. 2nd night we ask for slipper and said, no more slippers? What a hotel? Can you believe that? Then, eventually gave us a slipper! And more towels for our 3 nights stay in the hotel! The management should look up the improvement of the hotel! What amazing was, the music in the neighboring establishment can be heard so loud even our rooms located at the 5th floor! Funny really! You cannot sleep then! I will not recommend this hotel and never i will check in again! Does not worth our money! Good thing atleast that some of the staffs are accommodating and my room only...
Read moreGood value and excellent location near the "entrance" to American Alley (Al Shabab Avenue) in Juffair, so walking distance to dozens of restaurants, bars, food trucks, shisha patios, supermarkets, etc. Try "Ocho Salsas" for tacos / Mexican just around the corner. The hotel rooms are a bit dated and nothing fancy but good enough for weekend get-aways. The gym has all you need for a good workout, but the pool is currently drained (January 2023). Breakfast is in KitKat Lounge next to reception and is worth it. Very friendly reception staff. Parking either right in front of the hotel (if space available) or in an uncovered lot to the right of the hotel (used by visitors to the various clubs also - Retro, Rockys - located in the hotel, but a security guard always outside). TV has CNN as well as a few other international and...
Read moreI do not recommend this hotel for families or business travellers. Hygiene was below standard. The rooms were dated and dusty. I got a stye on one eye staying there. When I asked for a non-smoking room, the front desk employee laughed and said I can check the room beforehand to see if the smell is ok. They were kind enough to find a room which didn't smell like smoke on the 7th floor.
The staff were the best thing at the hotel. Everything else was substandard. The biggest issue was noise. This is an extremely loud hotel, not just from the nightclubs but the elevators and staff in service rooms on the floors. You can hear all sorts of loud and squeaking sounds all night from every direction.
Do not stay here if you need peace and quiet and need to wake...
