A World Class Sanctuary of Luxury and Hospitality - Raffles Al Areen Palace, Bahrain

We stayed for six unforgettable nights at Raffles Al Areen Palace, and from the moment we arrived, we knew this would be a stay unlike any other. We actually planned our entire holiday around this resort, and it exceeded every single expectation.

We needed a venue worthy of our anniversary celebration, yet comfortable enough for our two children (8 and 6 years old). A private villa with its own pool and jacuzzi seemed perfect, and it truly was.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with refreshing welcome drinks and a seamless check in. Our villa left us speechless, spacious, immaculate, and designed with the finest attention to detail. We even discovered an extra hidden washroom on our last day! The private pool was generously sized, the jacuzzi divine, and the two showers (including an outdoor one) added to the feeling of indulgence. The villa felt more like a private mansion than a hotel suite. We stayed in Villa 108.

Raffles Al Areen truly operates on another level of ultra luxury. Daily housekeeping and evening turn down service ensured the villa was always pristine, we’ve stayed in many luxury resorts, but this level of attention was beyond anything we’ve seen before.

Breakfast at Palma Restaurant deserves its own praise. The service was impeccable the lady at the entrance always greeted us with a warm smile, and every staff member seemed genuinely happy to be there. The food was outstanding, matcha with the saffron and mango pancakes were exceptional, the coffee excellent, and the breakfast basket with breads and condiments was a delightful touch. Anyone booking should definitely include breakfast, it’s an experience in itself.

But Our private BBQ dinner was another highlight. Chef Sashi prepared everything to perfection with warmth and enthusiasm, while Mahin, our waiter, was professional, kind, and an absolute pleasure to be around.

The Kids’ Club was ideal a safe, fun place for our children, open until 6 pm, giving us time to relax and enjoy the spa or pool in peace. The buggy service was incredibly fast even though everything is within a short walk, the kids absolutely loved the buggy rides to breakfast or the main hotel.

The butler service, however, is what elevated our stay from luxurious to truly world class. Our butler, Anirban, was exceptional attentive, proactive, and genuinely dedicated to ensuring everything was perfect. Whether arranging a private in villa BBQ with rose petal décor, setting up a floating breakfast, organizing spa experiences, or even arranging a late night shisha, he handled everything flawlessly. He even checked in while off duty to make sure we were comfortable.

Anirban’s thoughtfulness truly made our stay unforgettable. One evening he surprised us with mini desserts and a handwritten anniversary card, another night he brought lavender pillow spray and eye masks to help us unwind. Before we checked out, he presented us with beautiful gifts, two leather passport holders, a luggage tag, and a cute bag for our six year old. These gestures turned an already remarkable stay into something profoundly personal and memorable.

The only consideration for future guests is the distance from Manama, around 30–45 minutes to reach attractions like the Al Fateh Mosque, The Avenues Mall, or the old Souq. However, we soon realised that the beauty of Raffles Al Areen lies in its privacy and tranquility. Most guests, including an Indian celebrity, Vivek Oberoi, who happened to be staying next door seemed to prefer staying within their villas, simply enjoying the peace and luxury.

In summary, Raffles Al Areen Palace isn’t just a hotel, it’s an experience. A place where every detail is designed to make you feel like royalty. We left feeling rejuvenated, cared for, and genuinely grateful for the world class hospitality...

two months ago my wife and I had our newborn little boy, Abdullah. we decided to go to Bahrain the first thing once my wife recovered. we chose Raffles Al Areen Palace Bahrain since we haven't visited it before and we heard it was renewed by the Raffles, in addition we wanted to have the luxury resort experience without the need to travel far from our home in Khobar. From the moment I did the reservation online, I start noticing the amazing treatment from the staff of the resort. First, I was contacted through WhatsApp by the staff to know my preference on the food, drinks, amenities, and the TYPE OF PILLOW I want. Upon the arrival, I was contacted by the hostess with the mostest MARGRET who didn’t leave us from the moment we arrive to the hotel until we went for dinner at night. Not only that, she contacted us before our checkout to make sure we had a wonderful experience. Thank you Margret for your hospitality When I told him that I’m travelling with a new born, I asked them to have a baby crib, but the staff when beyond that. They installed a bottle sanitizer and added a baby bottle and milk bottle in the fridge. They even offered a bathtub for my little boy when needed to his bath time. My wife and I were touched by that. We’ve travelled all over the places, but no hotel went beyond like the Raffles. Thank you so much for your hospitality and I’m looking forward for my next visit with my...

What an amazing place! We relaxed as soon as arrived as we didn’t have to stand at a reception desk to check-in, but sit on a beautiful sofa with a juice the hotel had made in a wonderful relaxing area. The hotel messaged us ahead of time to check roughly when we would be arriving. We loved this as it meant we could go to our villa within half an hour of arriving, even though it was early morning. The attention to detail is incredible but not over the top. They have everything just right. The staff are absolutely wonderful! The breakfast team made sure we had a banquet everyday and on our last day presented us with a beautiful cake and message. The housekeeping team were fabulous and couldn’t do anymore to make our villa perfect for us. Special thanks to Mizan and his team for the inflatables for the pool, which made it much more fun and for keeping us topped up with lots of water! We loved that all the hotel products were Eco Friendly, not a piece of plastic insight which made a refreshing change. We had one meal in the restaurant which was fantastic and two in-room meals. Everything was just perfect and thank you to all the chefs who created superb food for our entire stay. It has been years since my husband and I have been this relaxed on a holiday, everything was just perfect and we can’t thank everyone enough for this. Nothing was too much trouble and we really do hope we can...

Our stay at Al Areen Resort was truly unforgettable. The villa was spacious, beautifully designed, and came with a private pool that made the experience incredibly relaxing and special. The hospitality was outstanding from start to finish—every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. A special thanks to our butler Margret, who was so attentive, kind, and always available whenever we needed anything. We also deeply appreciate the professionalism and warmth of all the staff and supervisors, who made us feel genuinely welcomed. A heartfelt mention as well to Sarci Gizem, Director of Rooms, whose personal attention added an extra layer of care and excellence to our stay. The spa was another highlight—beautifully serene and so rejuvenating. A special thank you to Desik who gave me one of the best massages I’ve ever had. She was skilled, professional, and made the whole experience truly relaxing. We had an amazing breakfast at Palma Restaurant in Areen Hotel. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicious, and the staff were all very welcoming. Special thanks to Radwan for his outstanding service! Overall, everything was perfect, the villa, the private pool, the spa, the hospitality, and the amazing team who made our stay so memorable. We can’t wait to come back
