Nooh Tower — Hotel in Muharraq Island

I have no idea why does this hotel have a high rating! For my experience staying there for 16 nights, I would give it 2 stars. One for the sea view, and the other for the internet speed. Other than that, there is nothing special there and it is overpriced for what is offered. Here are the positives (+) and negatives (-). Positives: Few of the staff are friendly The sea view is amazing, specially from elevated floors It is not crowded so the gym and pool are usually empty Negatives: Some of the staff are rude and make their own rules. for example, I was told by a receptionist when I called for room service that I cannot request them everyday!! The AC is not functioning properly. We had a 2-room apartment so we set the temperature in the 3 AC's similarly on 26. In one room it felt like 30, while in another would feel like 20! The carpets are old and full of stains The stove is not clean The washing machine is extremely noisy (like an airplane taking off, literally) Trash bins are extremely small Room service is random. If you are there, they would do an ok job so you would tip them. If you are not, they would do random cleaning and leave. There is no refund policy. So if you paid for 10 days and wants to leave after 9, you would loose one night. After completing the check-in, they requested for a 50BHD as insurance in cash or they would keep my passport! They should say things like that in advance because not everyone has cash on him all the time nowadays, and it illegal to confiscate someone's passport! The location is dead. Taxis would take an average 20 mins just to reach you. Also there is no where to go in a walking distance.

I stayed at Nooh Towers for about 4 months and overall, it was a good experience.

I rented a one-bedroom apartment for around 360 BHD/month. The apartment was clean and well maintained, and the building feels safe and comfortable. It doesn’t feel like the typical hotel in Juffair. The WiFi was excellent with no interruptions, and the front desk staff were usually responsive and tried their best to accommodate requests. Weekly cleaning was provided and generally good, though the bathroom cleaning wasn’t always hygienic and I often had to redo it myself. The property is family-friendly and safe for women, which is a big plus.

That said, there were a few issues: • The freezer once froze over completely, making it unusable until maintenance fixed it. • The electric stoves only worked occasionally, which was frustrating even though I don’t cook much. • Smoke smells sometimes came through the AC vents, likely from a smoker in another apartment, and the building did not address this even though the rooms are meant to be non-smoking. • One of the front desk employees was occasionally rude. It wouldn’t hurt him to treat customers more kindly and politely, and this is something the hotel management should pay attention to. • Another major inconvenience was the payment method. If I didn’t pay in cash and wanted to use my card, I had to cover the extra percentage that the bank charges them. This actually happened during my stay, and I find it very annoying and unprofessional for a hotel to pass those costs onto guests.

It could have easily been a 5-star review, but due to these issues I give it 4 stars. Still, I would highly recommend Nooh Towers for anyone looking for a safe, clean, family-friendly, and well-priced...

At BD2.57 (SR257) a night, we got a first class queen-size bed accommodation at 13th floor of Nooh Tower. The view was amazing with the city and the sea on the horizon. The building has parking slot at upper floors. The room is clean and complete with toiletries and kitchen appliances and wares, including the qibla, prayer matt and quran. The staff are nice and accommodating. As soon as you enter the room you will smell a relaxing and fresh scent. The fire protection system is in place with the smore detector, fire water sprinkler, elevator, emergency exits and emergency lights making the apartment safe. The furniture inside the room are of high quality with elegant interior design. It has a Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi that are well maintained as evident in its water clarity, temperature and smell of Chlorine. Highly recommended for families...
