We stayed for two nights here, in room 404 and 403. I am sharing the experience of room 404. I think it is a complete hotel facility in Kuakata, though there is no swimming pool or spa facility. Not many hotels here have the look or facilities like this one, I guess.
Good things: Location Size, shape and design of the hotel Total area The BBQ ground The mini garden beside the walkway Two little dogs Decoration at the reception Lighting at night Overall interior design and facilities in the room and toilet No mosquitoes Foods are tasty Service
Things must be improved: The tall mirror is almost useless. It is located at the corner of the room, where no light enters from the lights of the room or the light from the toilet. The light at the top of the mirror is non-functional. It's position in front of the toilet door is grossly disliked. There is no dressing table inside the room. Though the furnitures and facilities are positive things, there are strong signs of lack of maintenance. For example, the commode seat is loosened and grossly discoloured, the hand shower was non-functional, there are permanent stains on the mirrors of bathroom, bathtub, commode, and inside the refrigerator. You must perform extensive washing and maintenance service from time to time to keep these things functional and beautiful. I had to kill two cockroaches after the first night. It was a horrible experience by some of us. Provide aerosol insect killer and air freshener inside the room. Should improve breakfast. The first breakfast lacked any gravy item, though the main course includes parata and luchi. There must be a gravy item if you offer parata and luchi. The second breakfast included dal, that's better. In room 403, due to faulty Positioning & Height of the BASIN - It's very difficult to use & water was always coming towards our body which was disgusting. In room 403, sofa is Old & Torn out. Wifi service is not stable, there was frequent disconnection, should be improved. Toilets should have...

This is hands down the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone. Our entire trip to Kuakata was ruined because of this pathetic excuse of a hotel. From start to finish, it was nothing but disappointment, frustration, and disgust.
The door lock was BROKEN — imagine staying in a room where you don’t even feel safe. The room itself was a nightmare: dark, smelly, no proper lighting, and zero effort to make it livable. They didn’t even bother to spray the room once, not a single touch of freshness. It honestly felt like staying in an abandoned storeroom rather than a hotel room.
The bathroom was another disaster. The water pressure was so ridiculously low that you can’t even take a proper shower. Utilities barely worked. The AC hardly cooled, the bed was like a rock, and the entire room setup screamed “cheap and careless.” Absolutely no comfort whatsoever.
Hospitality? NON-EXISTENT. No one cared about the guests. Room service was a joke — slow, unhelpful, and careless. Food was awful, rooms were dirty, and the staff acted like they couldn’t care less. For the money they charge, this is daylight robbery.
Our whole team was frustrated beyond words. Instead of enjoying our time or focusing on work, we were stuck dealing with this filthy, miserable place. The only so-called “positive” is that the beach is nearby — but honestly, don’t let that fool you. Nothing can make up for how bad this hotel is.
I am writing this so nobody else makes the same mistake we did. This place is NOT worth a single penny. If there was an option to give 0 stars, I would. Save your money, save your peace of mind — book literally ANY other place in Kuakata, just not this dump.
Final Warning: This hotel is a disaster. AVOID IT...
