Hill Crown Hotel & Resort — Hotel in Chattogram Division

As of 15th August 2024, we have visited this resort with family. We have taken four family suits. From their rack rate 5,000 they gave us 50% discount and we availed these rooms with a rate of 2,500 taka per night, although we stayed here only for one night. Our experience is not that much good as we expected watching the online photos. This resort have a big cleanliness issue, all the rooms are not clean as a hotel or resort room should be. we have found different types of bugs and Cockroaches in most of the rooms. specifically the corner location inside the rooms are very dirty and it seems like the cleaners never touched this areas. we didn't find any soap, towels and other commodities as we required and we had to request housekeeping to provide us in the middle of the night (we did late check in). The resort has kitchen space and restaurant but these were not operational. we had to get out of this resort, cross the road and get the food service from another restaurant, which perhaps had agreement with this resort. The common outside sitting spaces are very dirty, not organised properly, or somehow out of service. The outside cottage had a different issues, such as the toilet is very dirty, the toilet comod is very dirty, the taps and other bathroom fittings are out of order, the bathroom mirror was very dirty, the main door lock was out of order. The blankets were smelly and no cover on it. The towels are old and looks dirty even though they clean it. Cigarettes ash and waste were everywhere, even in bathroom.

Having said all of these above, the behaviour of the support staff and the manager is very good, and they supported us every way possible.

The hotel environment is good, its near Meghla and just on your left before entering Bandarban city. Hotel environment, placement and surroundings are good but the stuffs are not well mannered. We had a booking of 26 persons on 21st February. The hotel management had a program on 22nd February where the MP of Bandarban (Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing) was present. As a result all the stuffs were busy with preparation of their program. This can be considerable if they showed us well manner. They didn't permit us to use their dining and place for BBQ as they decorated those places already. As a result we had to eat our dinner outside and had to manage BBQ on a dirty place and they misbehave with us there. If they have problem why they took reservation ? Hotel with such a beautiful location should effort some well mannered stuffs. This 2 star rating is for their manner less behavior and...
