We booked a suite with two connecting rooms before our trip with advanced money worth 1/3rd of the total cost. We told them we would check in in the afternoon. When we arrived at 3 pm they said they had to clean the rooms and told us to wait for 15 mins. It was raining heavily and we were all socked to the bones. They gave us a temporary room(which wasn't clean) to freshen up. After waiting for about 40 mins, I went up to check the condition of the rooms and found that they had rented it to someone else that morning! They were waiting for that guest to leave so they could clean up and let us move in.
We had to waste more than an hour just to get inside the rooms. Because of that we had to miss one of the spots we intended to visit.
Absolutely unprofessional and greedy management. Never going back there again.
Other cons:
One of the rooms inside the suit had poor lighting, the geyser wasn't functional, and we found a cockroach later.
Good things:
The food at the restaurant was freshly cooked and good tasting, although a bit pricey. The suit was cleaned up properly later. The higher floors have a nice view you're in the front side. There's a small bazaar about five-minute walk from the hotel, so you can buy snacks etc. easily. The hotel is situated on the road to Bandarban city, so your bus can pick up/drop off on the way. Just talk to the counter people earlier for that...
Read moreWent there couple of days ago and the only thing which is worth mentionable was it's location otherwise it's a pathetic place. No AC or ceiling fan in the whole lobby/waiting room. There was only ONE pedestal fan in the whole lobby which is quite a big area. Dinning area aswell have no AC or ceiling fans either with fixed glass windows, we were sweating while taking our meals. Two pedestal fan for a room where 40 people can have meals at a time. The worst part of this dinning area is it's washroom, you enter there and just need to wash your hands and you will find the man's urinal straight infront of you YUCK. How someone can keep an open urinal in a hand washing area ? Severely untidy 4 wash basins with only one liquid soap pump and very poor lighting in that area. Used tissues on top of counters. Feel like to santize hands again after using those basins. Also food was not upto the mark and service was real slow. Like your rice dish is empty and it took 10 minutes to refill. Rooms were not clean properly, curtains seems never been washed, light bulb in the washroom was out of order and it took hours to fix it. No light switch near the entry door, you have to walk in the dark to turn on the lights. 1 liter water bottle was served without any glass, later water refill took three hours. My impression about this place in one word...
Read moreNot a very bad place to stay. The staff were very helpful. The location is a bit odd, transportation isn't very frequent and costly if you have to go to the main city. The no decent restaurants nearby. We have to pay 200 taka CNG fare every time just to have lunch or dinner.
The rooms are not quite ok, we asked for deluxe couple bed, they have join two single beds and made it one, the seam in between was so uncomfortable. (We had an infant who was lying at the side, my wife in the middle and she keep complaining about that uncomfortable joint) The water pressure wasn't enough in the washroom. AC remote was malfunctioning in most of the time. The best part was, it's placed in such a quite environment the stay was cozy . That's the main reason I booked this hotel, even I had some good deals inside the city. The view from the balcony was...
