For a long time Parjatan Motel in Rangamati has been the only good place to stay as family.. though travelers never mind any places for stay..! However, families with small children need.||||This time in late September I visited Rangamati as I was cycling through the Hill Tract districts from Bandarban to Rangamati to Khagrachhari, so needed an overnight stay. And, I later came to know that is because a new and bigger hotel building has been constructed in the mean time and that is found to be good.||||Being damn tired of 62+ Km cycling on the hills throughout the day and needed a good night sleep. So, took an air conditioned room on the 4th floor. The room was good, fresh, clean with a soft bed. The AC worked well, there was large sized bathroom attached that was also neat and clean. ||||The best thing about the room was it its view from the backside private balcony towards the lake, it was a moon lit night and reflection of the moon light on the Kaptai lake was an amazing experience, the dawn and, obviously the sun rise in the morning...!!! And, this is what made me confirmed that it was a great decision for me choosing the Parjatan Rangamati..!||||It was bed and breakfast, but in the morning it felt like the management and staff were not appropriately capable of managing such a huge load of 80 people at once. So, some improvements are required in this area.||||Being a government facility this is a large campus.. but you may also find many people coming to visit the place because of the natural beauty...

We had lunch, dinner and breakfast here as there was little option nearby. However, the lunch and dinner were reasonably good though options were limited. Breakfast was not upto the mark. It is indeed a pity that with similar natural beauty it could have been a star attraction for any tourist in Bangladesh. Rating this is tricky. For nature and location it is 5+. But for stay it is 1-. So going for the mean that is 3. You have...
