BRAC CDM (Rajendrapur) — Hotel in Dhaka Division

The place is nice and comfortable and I think the beginning of winter and end of winter is good time to visit this place with family. However, I probably wouldn't like to visit this place second time with family because of the following reasons:

The water of the swimming pool is so cold that you can't take your kid inside it. Therefore, it's only suitable for summer unless you love to swim in chilly cold water. They don't have any heating system which the staff at the swimming pool didn't inform. Before him the kids and their fathers were getting ready for swimming. And only after getting into the water when we discovered, he happily informed that there was no hot water system for the pool. This happened to me and another family at the same time.

The lunch buffet was just substandard, while they charge BDT 800 for it. I was disappointed because there was only one meat item, only sweets and fruit salad as desert where the sweets were very low quality product that you can get in village shops only. Also, they were several times unaware when the bowls are empty and upon asking, taking much long to refill the bowls while the guest were waiting, there was no place for washing hands in the restaurant and the knife they keep on the table are not friendly to children at all (so, be careful!)

They didn't reford counts of the guests while checking in and gave a bill which had added bills for one extra person. So, always check your bills and ask for explanation.

They charge 26% extra as VAT and service charge against everything. And I couldn't find any value for money because of their poor attitude, low quality buffet, small room (though it was named as queen deluxe), no warm water in the pool, slippery cradles for adults, very few fun rides for toddlers, seeing the fountain while checking in time only and being informed about available discounts only after checking out and paying...

The grounds are well-kept, green, and refreshing. Use of amenities like the game room, fitness center, boating, bikes, sports fields, playground, etc. are easily accessible and open for use without hassle. The children in the group loved the playground, swimming pool, and sport field. Dining facilities were very accommodating to our group with regard to timing and special dietary preferences. The only confusing part was the occasional change of location for some meals, but office staff reached out and responded quickly to queries. Rooms are a little dated, but kept up nicely. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable. Rooms are large with tons of storage. Views are excellent! A/C worked very well and hot water was abundant in the shower! Verandas on each floor are excellent spaces to spend some time when the weather is rainy or one just wants to socialize outside of the room. I can't recall any specific names, but I can say with certainty that I did not encounter a single staff member that wasn't 100% professional and welcoming! It's rare these days to stay at a resort where every staff member is so welcoming, professional, and accommodating! My group of only 14 members were treated with utmost respect and courtesy by every staff member. Housekeeping was especially accommodating and responded to every need immediately. Front office staff responded to all needs and requests prior to our stay and during our stay. The addition of an electronic/ indoor game room would be a nice addition to consider. Also, a small cafe to purchase snacks, treats, etc. would be a nice thing to have. Keep up...
