Went during Eid break with a group of friends - was exactly the kind of place we wanted, as our goal was relaxing and a laid back time. We stayed for 2 nights in the premium bungalow and the cottages - found the pricing to be a good value for what we got (3 meals and lodging for a per person price)
The goods: staff service was excellent! Everyone was quite resourceful and helpful, professional, polite - which made up for any small grievances here and there - on site and also over WhatsApp when we were making the booking the food overall was decent - quantity as well as quality - we preferred their deshi food options and tastes over other type of cuisines they had in the buffet - but all the produce was quite fresh, and they made sure to keep the food warm and brought out in batches the environment - quiet, green, open spaces where people can play cricket/ football/ badminton, etc outdoorsy things; there was a pool (which we did not end up using); they have an enclosed waterbody and a ghaat to sit around, some farm animals in a neat enclosure too; if you are a fan of butterflies and insect enthusiast - a lot of nice critters around - also very darling dogs and cats around who were friendly and non-intrusive - however, since the weather was incredibly hot during day, we ended up staying indoors mostly to play boardgames etc it rained really heavily one of the nights, and the staff were great at coordinating getting everyone back from the dining room to each guest's rooms
The accommodations: premium bungalow had 3 spacious rooms, (2 bedrooms, and a cute lounge/ living room with TV, dining table and couches) -- seemed to be newer and better kept than the cottages the cottages - had all the basic requirements, comfortable bed, TV and other simple amenities in the room, attached bathrooms with working heaters -- however, little to no view of the outside greenery because of the privacy shades - the management can rethink the functionality/ ambiance of these cottage rooms - as it felt more like closed ship cabin rather than open and airy cottage vibe (that the rest of the resort is like)
The not-so-goods overall cleanliness of the cottages can be better some minor issues with electronics not working right (like phone not working in room, TV remote not working properly) - but the staff are very helpful in addressing these situations
Overall: a good place for a wholesome time with family and friends for a quiet and relaxed getaway (and bring your own entertainment if you want to make the best use of the beautiful place)
Thank you for a great time, and keep up the good work RASS Resort - look forward to...

Relaxation with a Distance:
We recently had the pleasure of visiting Rass Resort in Gazipur. The resort itself was a delightful surprise. The ambiance offered a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Tranquil beauty surrounded the property, creating a perfect haven for relaxation.
Culinary Delights:
One of the highlights of our stay was undoubtedly the food. The resort's restaurant impressed us with its delicious offerings. The menu catered to a variety of tastes, with fresh, high-quality ingredients taking center stage in every dish. Each bite was a burst of flavor, making every meal a memorable experience.
The Journey In:
While the resort itself was fantastic, the journey there presented a bit of a challenge. The distance from Dhaka to Gazipur is quite significant, especially if you're not accustomed to traveling long distances. Additionally, the roads leading to the resort are on the narrower side, which can be nerve-wracking for those unfamiliar with the terrain. It's important to consider these factors when planning your trip, particularly if you're not comfortable with long drives or narrow roads.
Recommendation:
For those seeking a peaceful getaway with exceptional food, Rass Resort is definitely worth considering. However, if you're looking for a quick escape easily accessible by bus, this might not be the most ideal choice. For travelers with their own vehicles or those willing to arrange private transportation, the distance and road conditions become less of a hurdle.
Final Thoughts:
Overall, our stay at Rass Resort was a positive one. The serene environment, coupled with the excellent food, made for a refreshing escape. While the journey might require some additional planning, the destination itself offers a tranquil and...
Read moreIt is one of the best Resorts nearby Dhaka. It is located at Sreepur, Gajipur, Dhaka. So much pleased with the welcoming behavior of the manager and other staffs.
Rooms are well spacious, with necessary items. Items they have: Almiras, Sofas, Mirrors, Small table with a heater, green tea packs, mugs, spoons etc, another small table with intercom telephone to contact. Rooms are neat and clean but some spider nets are noticed, then the window carpets were a little bit dusty.
There was a smart TV. But the channels were not so much clear view. Moreover, I found no dishes in the morning. It would be smart and best if the TV had Wi-fi system to browse internet. They provide WiFi, it was a better side.
The air-conditioner worked properly. The attached bathroom were also neat and clean, no complain. It includes hot and cold water at the same time. They provide body soaps, shampoo, tooth brush with paste. These are common utilities to provide, so these were as expected.
Now in case of food, it would be better to ask, if the food are ready or not. Moreover, you could modify the food items if possible.
The have enough spacious area to walk and wander! But not so much big, but enough to enjoy. Have a football groud to play, kids playground, event centers. The provide luxurious service of course. Have a swimming, which is recommended at special Night View and enjoyment!
However, without personal conveyance facility, it is a little bit complicated to go there for the first time from Dhaka. However, you can follow the instructions to go there from Dhaka! Take any bus of Dhaka- Mymensingh route from Mahakhali Bus Terminal. BDT 150-320. Get down after Maona, at Noyonpur Jame Mosque. From the opposite side, take any autorickshaw upto Rass Resort....
