First of all, VERY VERY EXPENSIVE HOTEL. But despite high cost, they also offer very good service. Their professionalism is close to any 5 star grade hotels. Room: We went three person and took the twin bed with one extra bed for 10,500 taka per night. But surprisingly idk why the lady at the front desk gave us an upgrade and gave the family room with one double bed and one single bed. And yeah, I can tell after staying over countless amount of hotels, this room is close to their top level rooms in the hotel. The room was by far one of the best room I've ever stayed. The design of the window takes the room's beauty to another level. But As you can see in the picture, there is a very giant glass that creates a partition between bedroom and washroom. It was really embarrassing for us to use the toilet cuz you can easily see the traces of the person behind the glass. Idk who had this idea to place a giant ass glass in the middle of the room. Though I've seen similar designs in thailand and some of Malaysian hotel. But considering Bangladesh and most importantly rajshahi i didn't expect this kind of design. Service: Great. The staffs could be a bit more humble but its okay. They were chill persons. Room service was good. Everything was upto mark Food and buffet: Its depressing seeing such bad performance on buffet. Within 9:45, most of the food were finished and no one refilled it. Food taste was also very average. Low amount of variation. Only a few items were actually edible. Swimming Pool: More like a large bathtub. You cant swim freely due to how small the pool is. But it comes with a very beautiful scenery. Its an infinity pool so you know you can capture beautiful pictures. Ambience: PEAK AMBIENCE. Very beautifully decorated. Even the corridor has a super soft carpet which is fun to walk on. Front desk, buffet restaurant, pool Everything were top notch. Finally, idk about Hotel X but to me this is the best hotel in rajshahi.

Not recommended. Dirty, unprofessional, and a complete lack of service. Our stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. We had booked a room in advance for three people with an extra bed — but upon arrival, the room was dirty and unprepared. The extra bed was missing, and there were only two sets of towels. The bed was brought in only after an hour and several complaints. Power outages happen constantly, especially in the evening — lights and air conditioning kept turning off. The room and hallways were dusty, clearly not cleaned properly. The restaurant was a disaster. The staff ignored us, and it took 40 minutes to bring an order of three cheesecakes and three black teas — despite promising it in 5 minutes and only after several reminders. The cheesecakes were frozen solid with ice inside. To make matters worse, we were given a bill for 2000 taka, which was clearly incorrect. When I asked why it was so high, the waiters laughed and adjusted it to 1000. Absolutely unprofessional. The spa was also a huge letdown. I had reserved the hammam for 8:00 PM. When I arrived, the room was cold, the hammam was not ready, and the staff member didn’t know how to turn it on. I had to figure it out myself. In the end, I paid for a barely warm experience and left disappointed. The so-called buffet was also far from what you’d expect from a hotel of this rating. Very limited selection, poor presentation, and nothing close to the variety advertised. In short: for this price, it was a complete disappointment. No service, no standards, and no respect for guests. I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Ps: Interestingly, after sharing this very same review on their Facebook page, I was promptly blocked. Apparently, accepting feedback isn't part of the service. Blocking a guest - now that's customer care at its finest.

My experience here has been absolutely horrible. 1. Firstly, when we checked in, they told us the car parking is full because Cineplex guests had their cars there. We had to leave our car outside on the street with no security for quite some time before they finally managed a slot. It's a hotel. Room guest cars should be the bigger priority. 2. Then, the AC in our room wasn't working. When I informed them, they fixed the AC, but then at night the AC stopped working again and we had to call maintenance all over again. 3. There was also a lizard inside the room on the connecting washroom window and I asked Housekeeping to get rid of it. They couldn't catch it, which is okay, but they started walking away without telling me they didn't get rid of the lizard. I had to ask and only then they admitted it. 4. The floor boards of the room were coming off and I tripped on it constantly. 5. I asked for another room but the only available one they showed me had an odd, lingering smell of urine. 6. The room bed has wheels that move around if you apply even the minimal pressure. Older people like my father who don't have a lot of stability might have problems with this imbalance. 7. Lastly, while checking in, I'd informed them that I would need the name changed on the invoice. They asked me to inform it to them while checking out. The next day when I was checking out and I told them about this (I'd also informed them via phone when we were about to check out), the receptionist snapped at me saying I should have told her yesterday, to which I told her I did. There was no apology for the behavior. The food is pretty good, although the breakfast was underwhelming with basic things. Definitely won't be staying here again.

Last weekend my family and I stayed at the Grand River View Hotel. We had two rooms for two nights. In the middle of the second night, someone tried to use a keycard to get into our room. It woke us up, but we assumed someone just tried the wrong room by mistake. Five minutes later, they tried again... and it opened the door! Even though we had deadbolted it!

I yelled, "Hey!" as loudly as I could, and they ran away. I tried looking in the hall to see who it was, but they had run away.

I called the front desk, and all he could say was, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry," but he could not (or would not) tell me what had happened.

I tried checking on my children in their room, but they were sleeping, so they did not answer my knock or my phone call. Not knowing how someone got into our room, and not knowing if our children were safe, we did not sleep much for the rest of the night.

In the morning, I spoke to the manager. She had not heard anything about the problem from the night workers. When she heard what had happened, she turned to her trainee and said, "This is SO bad!" Her supervisor reviewed the camera footage, and it was a bellboy and two new guests checking in. The front desk had tried to check them into an occupied room. The key didn't work, and the front desk again gave them a new key... to MY room! And then rather than apologizing immediately, the bellboy ran away! And apparently the front desk staff knew what happened, since he apologized, but he would not tell me.

I told the supervisor that I expect two things from a hotel room: safety, and a place to sleep. Since I got neither, I suggested that they should not charge me for my room, at least not for that night. Unfortunately, he refused.

The hotel made a huge security mistake. They admitted the fault was entirely their own. And they did nothing to make it up to us.

The supervisor offered to fire the bellboy, as if that would somehow make up for my lost sleep. I explained to him that he was just doing his job, going to the room the front desk clerk told him, and firing him would make no difference.

So, poor security. Poor customer service. I will never go back. You...
