Shuktara nature retreat has another name which is DANGER ⚠️ If you want to visit this resort then please read the full review. In 3rd December, I visited the resort with my family. After entering the resort the swimming pool caught my eyes in the first place because once you look at it, you will vomit instantly. It has become yellow & nasty. There were so many mosquitoes inside the room. We used mosquito net 24 hours and stayed inside it. Their towels & blankets were super smelly 🤮 we went outside to buy blankets for us. In the room there were no intact water bottles. They only provided glass bottles which was totally unhygienic. You can see it in the picture that there were a lot of scratches in the cap, it was that old. There were no water in the washroom, let's not talk about hot water. We kept calling the staff and they told us that water will come but still they didn't fix the problem properly. It kept running off and on. The main scary part is after having dinner me and my kids were returning to our separate rooms. My kids went to their room and I followed them for taking a medicine. Within minutes I took the medicine and lock the door. Just beside the door I saw the snake you are seeing in the picture. The snake was 4 fingers away from the door handle. I immediately called the staffs and took care of it. My kids were so panicked that they wanted to change their room. When they talked to the manager they asked for higher charge to shift room. Even the next day we wanted to leave the resort but as we had booking for another day. They again told us to pay then we had to contact police and solve the matter. We left immediately in the morning. They didn't even apologised for the matter. If you still want to visit the resort then please note these : ✅ Bring mosquito killer things ✅ Bring water bottles ✅ Wear boots always and take precautions so that you can save yourself from snake. Bring carbolic acid...

Read moreThe resort is nothing special in terms of the price. The resort authority has no sense of responsibility/care towards their customers who are paying so much. We were given a villa where the interior was half done, the geyser was a disaster, either only flamming hot water used to run or cold water, worse than that was the bathroom hand shower, it did not work. We called the reception twice to send someone and check the bathroom problem and guess what, none appeared. When we went for dinner, we asked them why they did not send someone yet and they were just staring at us giving a blank look. Then a guy accompanied us, checked and told us that it will take some time he will come back, we waited till midnight still no one appeared. We were 6 people and we had to use 1 bathroom as another one was broken/was not working. The lighting of the rooms is very bad, there is no security as there were no trace of any CCTV camera so if any crime occurs, no one will be able to trace anything. We had dinner in the resort, the price is expensive AF and the quanity+quality+taste is bad beyond explanation. Swimming pool was so nasty that no one would want to even sit beside it and even if anyone wants, they won't be able to do so because the whole place is surrounded by mosquitos, even in the rooms there are too many mosquitos (They provided us with Aerosoles after we requested, thank god!)The sad part is, they do not want to know or care how the guests are feeling about the whole experience when were complaining at the checkout, they were giving us blank looks with no answers. 1 star I gave only for the natural scenarios/preserve but our overall experience in the resort was really bad. I would never recommend anyone to...
