Family Hostel — Hotel in Minsk

I wrote to Alla via whatsapp (according to the number in the maps), then I checked the photos and reviews on booking on Yandex request "Family Hostel (Belarus Minsk) - Booking".

I was looking at the last moment at the airport, so Alla's quick response via whatsapp was an advantage. I am grateful that without any money guarantee the hostess agreed to reserve a room for me (I only had cash with me). It was not very convenient that the payment was in Belarusian rubles, but I exchanged it at the airport (as it turned out later, the rate is the same as in all banks in the city).

The main benefits for me are:

Cleanliness and comfort for sleeping. Cleaning was every day, and very thorough. The bathrooms are exemplarily cleaned, everything is great. There was a washing machine, but for a fee.

The ability to use the kitchen, the availability of dishes, microwave, refrigerator. It looks like the owners did the renovation for themselves. In the kitchen, even the fittings are good (from Blum), and the facades are enamel - I was pleasantly surprised. The bar table is very functional. Shelves were divided in the refrigerator, they agreed on the situation, who had where the storage.

Wonderful guests and the atmosphere in the house (due to the agreed rules and the fact that Alla herself lived in one of the bedrooms). I met many guys - we keep in touch with many of them in telegrams, created a common group and share news.

Grocery store nearby, 20 minutes to the station by bus, from where you can take a minibus to the airport.

Possibility to agree on conditions: money, change of room and other details. That is an individual approach. I stayed 10 nights and happened to "try" 2 rooms.

Silence and pleasant environment. I often went out for a walk and felt like I was in a European village (in a good way).

Good arrangement of rooms. Yes, there was no living room (the kitchen served this role), but the guests had access to 2 bathrooms. I almost never left the house and only 1-2 times I remember waiting for the toilet to be released. The presence of balconies and terraces is a big plus, in my opinion.

In general, staying at the hostel left a pleasant impression and a pleasant trail...

Я выбирала место, где остановиться по локации от места работы, было важно, чтобы это была пешая доступность. Договорилась с Аллой заранее за 2 недели, аренда комнаты 1500₽ сутки, что меня устроило. Приехала рано утром, без разговоров заселили, согрели чайник, предложили чай/кофе) В гостинице чисто, аккуратно, как дома))) очень радушно встретили, бросила вещи, пошла на работу, Алла объяснила как дойти, вечером рассказала где магазин продуктов. Очень тихо, спокойно, все жильцы вежливые. Никаких эксцессов, всё отлично! Твердая пятерка! На прощание обнялись) если придется ехать ещё раз в командировку, остановлюсь только тут!
