La Chaumiere — Hotel in Asse

Booked this so called 'hotel' via booking.com based on the booking.com filters for hotel, location and free car parking on site. ||||Received an email from booking.com saying that the hotel had enquired what time we would be checking in. I wrote back saying after 20:00 and it would be a late check in. ||||On arrival at this building (can't call it a hotel) there was no one to check us in and despite telephone numbers posted on the door no one answered leaving us left without accommodation and no option but to book an alternative hotel. ||||I have travelled domestically and internationally for work and leisure and never ever before have I been left in this situation - an absolute disgrace and no one should use this place at all. Its advertising is surely a total misrepresentation when there is no staff present it should be classed as a hostel not a hotel. ...

Made booking because of several training days in Brussels. The service is well enough (not always someone present at reception but key opens front door as well), my room was not very big but it was clean with daily maintenance, a small fridge and hotel goodies.|Breakfast not continental like the big hotels but still proper choice. |A lot of parking in front and location pretty good alongside...

Hôtel déplorable, à fuir au plus vite. Aucun service digne d'un hôtel. Réception fermée à notre arrivée, après appel téléphonique, arrivée d'une personne ne parlant pas français, qui nous donne notre carte d'accès. Escalier d'accès étroit, pas d’ascendeur. Wifi en panne, en secours une 4G très lente. Linge de toilette usée jusqu'à la trame. Robinetterie de salle de bain à revoir (lavabo + douche). Pas de clim. Lampe de chevet hors service. Une tête de lit bien usée. Une prise électrique qui "reste" allumée avec un bout de carton. Le lendemain, entre 9h et 10h, une réception toujours fermée, pas d'accès à un petit-déjeuner. Au moment du check-out, toujours pas de présence humaine. Bref un beau désastre pour un soi-disant trois étoiles. La présence proche d'un "Champagne bar" (interdit aux mineurs) laisse présager de l'usage habituel de cet hôtel... De plus, cet "Hôtel" est très mal situé sur le bord d'une route bruyante (bus, nombreux camions). Cet hôtel, à l'abandon, n'a rien à faire sur le site de Google. A rétrograder dans les...
