Owner was meant to meet me, my daughter & 6 year old granddaughter at the property at 6.30pm but he didn’t turn up. Waited outside in the dark in a deserted car park. Phoned him & he said I was to call caretaker but I wasn’t given the number. Owner very argumentative on phone. Caretaker arrived after 20 minutes and was very helpful. Took us to our room which was changed from the original room as the former had no WiFi although all rooms stated WiFi. ||Double bed was 2 singles pushed together and sofa bed was king size (although booking confirmed that both doubles) so the double sheets we had to bring were too small. ||No switch to turn off lounge lights so awake most of the night due to the brightness as shown in photos. Pubic hair on the provided bottom sheet. Dirty and very lumpy pillows. Dirty shower and urine stains in toilet. Extremely difficult to open exit door- huge risk in the event of a fire! Once outside couldn’t lock door so belongings at risk of theft. Only 1 TV channel in Spanish. Tried calling owner that night but he did not answer. ||Reported to Hotels.com that night who tried to contact owner but calls not answered. They called him the next morning and he...
Read moreThings are not as seems to be in Park Atlantis. Booking com states it is families-oriented accommodation close to beach and pets are welcomed there. Reality is quite different, expect accommodation in dark, wet and stinking rooms, not functioning cooker, not working internet, no bed sheets are provided for free. Noise from nearby camp at 2 AM was also not very pleasant. Beach is appx 2 km away. Considering pets in fact you need to negotiate it in advance, special fee for pets could be charged. Cats are not allowed at all. The owner takes 200 € deposit, do not expect this will be returned even if the responsible person checks the flat when you are leaving and says everything is ok and they will return the money. Do not expect to receive any invoice describing alleged damage precisely or any help from booking com in this situation. Good things: nearby park is quite nice and whole areal has certain spirit of sixties and seventies. Could be interesting destination for adventurous young people liking retro accommodation but not with the current owner. If I compare this accommodation e.g. with my holiday in Ukraine beach house close to Odessa the Park Atlantis seems to...
Read moreTo say this accommodation is basic is giving basic a bad name, the apartments though clean were dilapidated with cupboard doors falling off and really dated, you have to bring your own towels and bed linen, we didn't know about the bed linen until the night before so decided to hire it at 10 euros per person none of it fitted the quilts provided and none was labelled to weather was for a single or double bed so took over 2 hours to sort it out. ||The facilities manager was less than helpful when one of the five apartments we had rented complained about a sewage smell in their room and request 3000 euros to have the apartment cleaned.||The site it self is a old water park that has building that need to be demolished but are a death trap to kids as there are windows and doors they can get into that could potentially cause a major injury.||This is the worst accommodation I have ever stopped in there is a bar about 5 minutes walk away and a small shop and restaurant near the bar but everything else is a...
