Relax & Maison Sax — Hotel in Durbuy

Very friendly people that welcomed us with a nice drink and made our entire stay lovely and relaxing. The location is easy accessable by car where you can park it. The house itself is very authentic yet had everything you need, like a modern bathroom and very quiet rooms. The original parquet floors transport you back in the good old times. The garden is really huge, so plenty of room to read a book while listening to the birds sing, walk around and think about your next big hit or simply look around and breathe in mother nature. The breakfast was delicious with lots of home made or local produce and plenty of coffee. In short this is the kind of place you want to go to relax, alone or with your family. People who are coming to the Durbuy for a short stay and not staying at Maison Sax should be prosecuted in the same way of Jeanne D'arc. Tony and Nadine are the most involved guest so far and deserve from a part a 5 star review (I have three stars during my last stay at the Burj Khalifa), the rooms are clean, the meals are massive and I had to wait maximum three minutes for my beers and wine (For this I have less patient than Paul Gascogne after a game in front of a bar), If you enjoy nature, walks go there and refer me so you can be entitled to the walk miles the more you walk, the more...

We hebben een fantastische kerstvakantie gehad in het vakantiehuisje van Nadine en Tony! Vanaf het moment dat we binnenkwamen, voelden we ons meteen thuis. Het huisje was prachtig in kerststijl ingericht, compleet met lichtjes, een kerstboom en decoraties die de feeststemming helemaal compleet maakten. Het was duidelijk dat er veel zorg en aandacht aan was besteed.

Het huisje bood alle comfort die je maar kunt wensen. De bedden lagen heerlijk, de keuken was volledig uitgerust, en de woonkamer was perfect om lekker te ontspannen na een winterwandeling. Onze kindjes hebben ook ontzettend genoten! Ze waren dol op de gezellige inrichting en hadden de grootste lol met het ontdekken van alle hoekjes van het huisje. Het was echt een plek waar jong en oud zich thuis voelt.

Tony bracht met zijn humor extra gezelligheid tijdens onze aankomst en zorgde voor een warme ontvangst. Nadine was super attent en stond altijd klaar als we vragen hadden. Hun gastvrijheid is echt van een hoog niveau.

Dit huisje is een aanrader voor iedereen die een knusse, comfortabele en feestelijke plek zoekt om van de kerst te genieten. We komen zeker nog eens terug!
