Château de Bonne Espérance — Hotel in Huy

I’m sorry to say that the past reviews must be contaminated with owner supported inputs . Certainly the gardens and building are beautiful, but the room we were offered STEEP CREAKY WINDING UPSTAIRS ( NO ELEVATOR OF COURSE ) that were truly out of a HARRY POTTER ancient otherworld scene. WE ASKED FOR ANOTHER ROOM BUT TOLD NONE AVAILABLE. THEN LATER…SHE TELLS OUR BOOKING AGENTS THAT WE WERE OFFERED ANOTHER GROUND FLOOR ROOM.WHICH IS A COMPLETE AND UTTER LIE. HER HUSBAND MADE NO EFFORT TO ASSIST US WITH LUGGAGE UP THE STEEP STAIRS AND WAS A COMPLETE FAILURE AS A HOST. WE CANNOT RECOMMEND THE VERACITY OR TRUTH THIS ACCOMODATION OFFERS., BUT YOUNGER GUESTS MIGHT WELL LIKE THE OLDE BUILDING AND ITS PECULIARITIES. JUST SAD THE HOSTESS HAD TO MAKE A LIE ABOUT OFFERING ANOTHER ROOM WHEN THAT WAS NOT THE...

I spent a week at Chateau de Bonne Esperance and was more than happy with my stay there. The place is beautiful, with a wonderful garden, big and old trees, really beautiful. The building is also beautiful and decorated with style. I really felt wonderful there, like a princess at the castle. And the biggest reason for this was the attitude of the owners - Mrs. and Mr. Davids went beyond my expectations and so-far experience. They were always ready to help with anything I needed in order to feel excellent. I recommend that you visit Chateau de Bonne Esperance with both my hands and am sure your stay will bring you nice memories as it brought to me. ||Thank you, Mrs. and Mr....

I've spent 3 days in an apartment in this gorgeous chateau. Beautifully located, just by the forest where you can enjoy some walks, yet only a few minutes drive from the centre of Huy. The Hostess is a truly friendly person, she made us feel at home and served royal breakfast. The apartment is spacious, cosy and tastefully furnished, with comfortable beds and you can experience the true silence there. I will gladly come back to this...
