Ferme de la Blanche Fontaine — Hotel in Mons

This B&B is clearly a small jewel and my preferred place to stay over when I am in the region. It is the ideal location if you are on a business trip or spend your holiday in Mons area. For those who are just on their way to another place (e.g. Paris), it also offers a nice and affordable place to sleep over.

The owners Ingrid and Ton with their lovely family are very welcoming and the perfect hosts to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Their farm is a very nice countryside location surrounded by nature and offers a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

All rooms are lovely decorated and make you feel home immediately. Some of them are equipped with a small kitchenette, Air Condition and other amenities. All have a refrigerator and a microwave. The rooms are accessible by separate entrance and free parking is possible just in front. The free WiFi has a very good quality and allows streaming if you are not up for exploring the neighbourhood by walking or jogging.

The next highway exist is just 10 minutes away and some good quality restaurants and supermarkets are even closer (just ask Ingrid and Ton for advice). The historic city centre of Mons with the Grand Place can be reached in about 10 -15 minutes by car.

Excellent quality. The room we stayed in was squeaky clean. We were provided with endless supply of thee and coffee in the room itself. There were extra bed sheets.

Bed was comfortable. Privacy was not an issue. Toilets and showers was separated. Enough plugs for all mobile devices. A TV with the local channels was provided too.

Even though it was on a big farm, we had no noise complaints. Always had good night rest. The farm did provide with some funky smells, it did not penetrate the room we stayed in.

Breakfast was certainly enough. From cornflakes to warm bread. On top of that there was all kinds of spreads for it. Many dairy produce was home made, so was the jam. It was an absolute feast. Highly recommended.

The people were nothing but kind and gentle. They have all my praise.

Prices are fair, quality...

We had the opportunity to stay at the Cottage Isabelle at Ferme de la Blanche Fontaine for 4 months, and it was like being in our first home in Belgium. We are a family of 5, and I was looking for temporary lodging for my family and I as we were moving to Belgium from Guam. I can’t tell you how glad I was that I found Ferme de la Blanche Fontaine. Ingrid and Ton were wonderful hosts, and we instantly felt welcomed. Our children had a great experience learning about the cows on the farm, and we drank fresh milk from the farm. The 3 bedroom, 1 bath cottage accommodated our family perfectly. It is conveniently located in Mons with a beautiful park, grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, and SHAPE all a short drive away.
