B&B Nord Sud — Hotel in Vielsalm

we stayed here when we went to the grandprix as we didn't want to pay over the top prices at the hotels near the track. We booked everything online and emailed the owner directly to confirm the booking ( google translator is a god send! ). The interior itself is just exquisit, all solid wood doors, wooden floors and beams, underlighting and welcoming soft furnishings. The accomodation is clean and comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and there is a really informal relaxed atmosphere about the place. Breakfast as expected was continentall, a good choice of cereal, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, choc au pain, french bread, croissants, cheese, pancetta and soft cheeses and jams. The location is very very quiet, it is perfect for couples who want peace and quiet, it is a small hamlet with a bar that doesn't do food and a small local shop, how ever 5 minutes up the road is a larger village with a variety of restaurants, take aways and shops. Oh and there's free wi-fi! I would definately recommend this B&B to any one who was staying in the area who was looking for comfortable, relaxed and quiet...

We spent 2 nights in this B&B and surely we will get back here later, too.||||The owners are very kind persons, the house is very well kept, super clean and spotless! One can feel that the BB was built with care so that the traveler can feel himself at home.||We ate there our new year's eve dinner which was prepared by the owner himself. It was a culinary dream, all the plates delicious! All natural, home made accompanied by perfect wine matching the food.||||The surrounding is also a magic. You are in a little valley, the stream flows in front of the house, the air is clean and of countryside which we were really looking for.||||The neighbourhood offers a variety of activities, such as several museums, a covered waterpark with tobogans and little villages nested in the hills. The ski/sleigh slopes, in case it snows which was happened when were were there, are also closeby.||||An absolute must for travelers who like warmhearted people and their place they offer and share with travelers for a reasonable price.||||Thank you for getting...

Only an overnight stop on our way further south. What a find and it was such a shame we were gone by the morning. Apart from a small argument with our SatNav an easy find, tucked away just off the main road. The building looks inviting from the start with a small red carpet outside.||||The rooms are large and clean and the beds very comfortable. WiFi is free which made planning the next day easy. Great parking area across the road with a lovely garden for sitting and eating out. I wish we had pre-ordered an evening meal as the other guests said they were great but the next village has a couple of eateries. The breakfast is wonderful all fresh and much of it homemade.
