I've spent there few nights during the offsite company event. The hotel is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, but I think it's done on purpose - nothing distracts you from being focused on the stuff you need to learn etc.||||Check in/check-out was fine and quick, even though we needed to wait a minute or so late at night to check-in as there was no one on the reception.||||Breakfast/other meals are good, good selection, not a world class but definitely realy really nice.||||Rooms are clean, spacious enough. The only problem was that in some of the rooms there was no air condition available ("heating only") - which makes a bit of a problem on a warm days. The venue was catering for a 2 day international team meeting - with over 20 delegates and about 14 translators!||The facilities are excellent, with everything you need for this type of event. ||The staff are very friendly - nothing was a problem for them. Every request was met with a warm smile and helpful service! The food and variety of choice is excellent - with lots of healthy options and veggie choices too.||The ample car park is easy to navigate, the hotel is situated in a nice quiet place and has some nice gardens to stroll around and stretch your legs!||I thoroughly recommend this venue as a choice for international events. Read moreI was genuinely shocked by the lack of basic safety awareness at this hotel. During check-in, the front desk employee said my room number out loud – even though two other guests were standing directly behind me in line. As a woman traveling alone, I found this incredibly unsettling.
I immediately told the staff member that it's not okay to say a guest’s room number out loud, and asked him not to do it again – especially when others are within earshot. This is a basic hospitality standard in most reputable hotels, and I’m surprised it’s not being followed here.
Safety and discretion should be non-negotiable. I hope management takes this seriously and trains staff...
