5 star experience for sure at Green Valley Inn! Our trip was perfect, and it was exactly as described, but with the best service and kindness that was above and beyond what we expected. The reviews were spot on (I don't see how anyone could give less than 5 stars here). ||You can't say enough good things about Marcela and her team, including Eva. They truly make your stay enjoyable. ||We did the complete package with them, starting with a transfer from the airport, stayed 3 nights in the Tree House, bought food and drinks with their B&B style restaurant, and did the ATM Cave Tour and the Guatemalan Mayan Ruins in Tikal tour. And then we bought the transfer back to Belize City right to the water taxi to San Pedro. ||We definitely thought it was worth paying a little extra to do everything through Marcela and Green Valley Inn, rather than trying to book everything separately to save a little bit. It was so stress free and enjoyable from pick-up to drop-off, and everything in between. ||We liked the unique Tree House with outside shower. It was very cool. It has A/C, and there is a nice pool in the complex to cool off in. ||The breakfasts and dinners were great and authentic. There was beer, soda, and waters for a good price in our room. We also got some great drinks at her restaurant at night. ||The ATM tour was unreal and a little crazy on the adventurous side. Well worth it. ||The Tikal tour was also great. It was a long, hot day (heat index 117 Fahrenheit), but we still thought it was amazing to see and experience. ||With out a doubt we would stay there again! In fact, when we were there we met a guy that was staying there for his 8th time, and another couple that was staying there for 2 months. ||We can't say enough great things about Marcela, Eva, and the...

Read moreIf I could give this place 10 stars, I would. AWESOME and so so RELAXING. Don't leave Belize without staying here. It is situated about 1 quarter mile in woods. The grounds are so peaceful and amazingly serene. I loved my treehouse and its quaintness. It was lovely to sit out on my tiny porch at night and listen to all the different bird sounds. I slept very well in the comfortable double bed and late at night I could here the howler monkeys. The pool was a nice surprise. The weather was also a nice mixture if clouds, sun, and a bit of rain. This place is situated about 20 miles from the city of San Ignacio. Each time I had to go into town I was taken by one of the workers there without hesitation. Joel and Ava were the 2 young workers there and they were so helpful and friendly. Now to get to the heart of the Inn, Marsela the owner. She is from Chile and has owned this Inn for 5 years. What can I say but I now have a new and dear friend to visit the next time I go to Belize. Sweet and awesome, friendly and kind, gracious and comfortable. She and Ava cooked my breakfast and dinner each day and it was complete and delicious. It truly was like a family staying there. I was not able to take advantage of the tours however she was there for me if I wanted them. In the evenings I would sit with them and either talk or play cards along with a nice glass of Merlot. Thankyou a thousand times Marsela, Ava, and Joel for an awesome stay there. One of my best stays ever. See you next time. By the way, Thanks to Anna for...
