Warrie Head Resort — Hotel in Cayo District

To God be all the glory All I can say is exquisite thank you Ms Debbie and Mr Blair for creating such a heavenly atmosphere for nature lovers to enjoy from the moment we step on this 700 acres of heavenly treasure without measures it was paradise in itself the checking host Ms Debbie and her husband Mr Blair was very welcoming kind and friendly the accommodation was of excellent satisfaction the room was clean and comfortable with all the commodity for comfortable stay and met our high expectations on every level after checking in our trail walk was quite another adventure in its from the fine dining to beautiful safari, to river to lake to ponds to the beautiful black orchids flower and even unplanned surprises like viewing one of the exotic friendly exotic featurs jumping from branch to branch friendly monkies displaying the art of God greatness . On the second day of our stay we went and cool off in the mineral river where we absorbed MOST of the minerals we hope we left some for the next guesses 😁 then again it was like world of beautiful nature without end more than enough for everyone We enjoyed watching the sunset which displayed on a big exotic tree right on side of our cabin the property was so magical we finishe off our last evening with playing hide and go seek among 13 sisters it was a so much fun with wonderful world of love our experience was amazing we will definitely be returning many more times to this paradise this property is so beautiful and peaceful and exotic features and accommodating for our large group and bigger function making me want to get married there soon love this place for it rich beauty private accommodations fine dining while surrounded by nature such perfect natural ambiance and display of God greatness and love I will definitely recommend this place world of paradise without end cheers to one of the best time of my life at the warrie head resort with my family in YAHUSHA...

This has to do with the service received at the restaurant.||We arrived there this past Sunday and took a seat on there outside deck.|We sat there for about six minutes before we got up and ask one of the waitress to attend to us. During that six minutes the owner and one of the waitresses literally passed our table and no acknowledgment of us.||We finally got them to come to the table and we gave our orders. We waited about twenty minutes and no food.|Finally, one of owners offered us some ice cream and apologized for the wait. We then waited another ten minutes and then the husband came out to apologize: stating “ the their cook did t show up, so they were running a bit behind.” I proceeded to ask him if he knew how longer our wait time would be . He said he would check and tell us…|He never returned. During this time ,|The table across from us had received their food and had only ordered five minutes before us. ||Finally the wife comes out and instead of being gracious she proceeds to tell us “ we can check out if we like “ Repeatedly stating the latter.She said this loudly so other guest could hear as to try and embarrass us as though we were behaving badly. I asked how longer it would be as she said another fifteen minutes.||I believe that since it was only two of us.|The managers were not interested in serving us since they figured they could make more money from the larger tables.||In the future maybe they should have better policies instead of hai f us wait around and...

Warrie Head Resort is one of my favorite places in Belize. Most recently, we hosted a business meeting and stayed at the resort for five days in late January. Their conference room is large enough to seat 15-20 people comfortably and worked well for our group. Staff brought in coffee, tea all day and a variety of snacks in mid-morning and afternoon. There’s also a great view of the Belize River and surrounding area.

My wife and I stayed in the two room bungalow, which was more than adequate for a couple and a short walk from the conference room and restaurant. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the outdoor atmosphere very relaxing.

Suggest not leaving without committing to a cup (or two) of their newly branded Black Orchid gourmet ice cream. A member of our group ordered ice cream for everyone which stopped all forward momentum in the meeting for 15-20 mins.

At the end of the day I walked down to the Belize River and fly fished for a couple hours. The current in the river is definitely swift but I did manage to catch a nice snook.

This review would not be complete without mentioning our hosts and resort managers, Blair and Debbie. They were both exceptionally accommodating and made the difference between good and great.
