We spend 2 nights in Casa del Telegrafista in April 2022 and we enjoyed every moment in this charming hostal. The setting of the colonial style bedrooms around the courtyard, the marvellous garden, the owners' eye for detail, ... it all adds to the experience in this mythical area where Che spent his last days. Breakfast and dinner were among the very best we had during our travel across Bolivia.||||At the time of our visit, Casa Del telegrafista was the only place to stay overnight in La Higuera, which in itself is not more than a dusty street and a small Plaza that pays tribute to El Che. We drove from Samaipata to La Higuera and our long but wonderful journey was rewarded when arriving at the Casa del Telegrafista. The roads are not effortless and finding (public) transport can be challenging in post-Covid days, but the owners may give you the latest updates on getting there.||||I made my reservations by contacting the owners by whatsapp on +591 67733362 (be patient as the internet access is irregular in this area, so, I can take a few hours before...

If you are interested in the history of the area, everything is within a few...
