Terramía Resort — Hotel in Municipio Warnes

The place is under construction but they should have moved us before we even got there but they tried to act like nothing was wrong, just no restaurant, and everything was closed and locked. We tried to go in the pool but there was too much noise and dust from the construction. The manager came a day after we complained and it was too late to leave. He gave us some money back. ||||Service, they were very nice but had nothing to offer us. ||||Room, also very nice and clean but the toilet and sink leaked and the shower didn't work when we got there. It was a great view of the lake that was awkward because a walking path cut right in front of the window by the bed so you have to keep the blind shut. ||||Food, awful! They had a "menu" of three items and we ordered one thing and they would bring something completely different. Los ambientes comunes del hotel estan medianamente cuidados, aunque hay algunas areas por las canchas de futbol que estan algo descuidadas. Lo mejor que encontre en el Hotel fueron sus cabañas en mi caso tenian 2 habitaciones, una cocina y una pequeña sala en la entrada y una silla tipo hamaca fuera, fuimos 04 personas yy estuvimos comodos, habian 02 baños. Las cabañas se nota que las han remodelado hace poco, toda la cabaña con aire acondicionado, la limpieza de las mismas entendemos que por la naturaleza de la zona, es mas dificil pero en general las mantenian limpias, el ultimo dia vi una enorme araña en el cuarto que pude sacarla de la cabaña, pero repito, se entiende. ||||Las piscinas se veian limpias, aunque con varios insectos flotando que se acumulaban en el transcurso del dia, hay una zona para niños en la piscina. En la noche vi murcielagos sobrevolando la piscina, muy de cerca de donde estabamos, y muchos, por lo que en un momento opte por salir de la piscina. ||||La comida no estuvo mal aunque le falto variedad al bufette y mas conocimiento de la parrilla para sus carnes, el desayuno fue lo menos variado. El servicio del front desk fue amable pero no tan eficiente, el personal de los restaurantes y limpieza de igual manera, amables. Eso si olvidate del Wi-Fi, seria mejor que dijeran que no existe, muy lento en el mejor de los casos cuando funciona, y en el resto de tiempo inexistente. Hay Wi-Fi en las habitaciones, pero con las limitantes que comento. Mas alla de canchas de futbol, voley, piscina, hay un bar al costado de la piscina donde puedes cantar karaoke, aunque en la noche el exceso de mosquitos hace que te refugies en tu cabaña. No use el jacuzzi, el sauna ni el spa. Regresaria en familia tal vez pero cuando mis hijos esten algo mas grandes, no es un lugar para bebes. ||||Hay una laguna natural que bordea el terreno del hotel pero no hay vallas, ni ningun aviso, es decir si pasas cerca por la noche o corres sin fijarte podrias acabar de cabeza en el lago, lo vi algo peligroso, ademas porque crece vegetacion encima del agua que parece que hubiera suelo debajo y no es asi. This is a huge resort which offers all kinds of services and entertainment in a well intended infrastructure, but falls short in delivering. ||The pool is big and has plenty of play space for kids, slides and other amenities that kids love. ||Also the lagoon is beautiful (although artificial) and the rooms and cabins close to it are nice and have a great view. ||The biggest disappointment is that it sells as a 5 star hotel but it's probably a 4 at most, the food and service is poor.
