Hotel La Casona De Don Pepe — Hotel in Roboré

I go to Robore frequently and I had seen the hotel before. It is very clean-looking and has a big pool in the back. I finally decided to try it out. I reserved a room a week in advance and it was confirmed. However, after the 4 hour drive from Santa Cruz I find out that the room had been given away to someone else and there were no rooms available. The attendant behind the front desk was completely unhelpful and was constantly calling the owner (who couldn´t be bothered to deal with it themselves). In the end I had to drive around on a holiday weekend at 10pm begging hotels to put me up for the night. Comfortable room with AC and cable TV. Very cheap, small, hard fabric, non absorbent and only one towel per guest. Night lamp is of poor design. Small bathroom with shower. Cheap TP and toiletries. Good free Wifi. There are comfortable hammocks in the balcony. Nice view of garden. Hotel is new and well maintained. Clean. Decent breakfast; bread, butter, cheese, scrambled eggs, natural fruit juice, season fruit. Tea, coffee, cocoa, milk, sugar and sweetener. You can purchase sodas, but there are no munchies. There is no lunch or dinner service. It has a pool on adyacent lot. Plenty of parking...

I like this place. I go to Robore at least twice per year and stay not less than a week and I always choose this hotel. I love its location and the swimming pool. Robore is a hot place and you will appreciate to have the swimming pool next to you. There is also a good restaurant attached to the hotel with excellent food. There is space to improve but you will not find a better place to stay in Robore. The wifi is an issue in the town but I heard that it will be improve this year because fiber optic is...
